New Fire Country Season 2, March 22 & 29, 2024 Episode 5 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Fire Country” fans. We ,unfortunately, have some very bad news to dish out to you in this article because the CBS folks are not airing a new episode of Fire Country tonight, March 22, 2024 and next Friday night, March 29, 2024. Yeah, apparently, CBS has some other TV obligations to attend to. So, the next, new episode 5 of this season 2 will be sitting on the back burner for a while.
According to CBS’ official episode 5 press release, the new episode 5 isn’t scheduled to arrive until Friday night, April 5, 2024. During that time, it will air in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to make a very strong mental note of that very important date ande time if you can.
In the meantime, we did find out why CBS isn’t airing new episodes of Fire Country tonight and next Friday night. According to the TV guide listings, CBS has cleared out its entire roster of Friday night shows to serve up LIVE coverage of the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Tonight, they’re going to air the first round game, featuring the James Madison Dukes vs. the Wisconsin Badgers.”
CBS’ official description for their LIVE coverage of tonight’s NCAA college basketball tournament game reads like this,”2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. First Round: James Madison vs. Wisconsin LIVE. The No. 5 Badgers confront the No. 12 Dukes in the NCAA Tournament first round. Wisconsin fell to Illinois in its bid to win the Big Ten Tournament. James Madison has won 13 straight games, and wears the Sun Belt crown in only its second season.”
Next Friday night, March 29,2024, CBS is going to air one of the Regional Semifinal games for this 2024 NCAA championship basketball tournament. CBS’ official description for it reads like this,”2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Regional Semifinal: Teams TBA LIVE. College basketball teams vie for the national championship.”
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 5 of Fire Country’s current season 2 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Friday night, April 5, 2024 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.
