Hey, “Saturday Night LIVE” fans. It’s Saturday again. That means the NBC folks will serve up another new episode of Saturday Night LIVE tonight, April 6, 2024. It will be the 16th installment of this current season 49, and we’ve got some preview intel for it to run by you guys.
NBC served up an official press release for tonight’s new, April 6, 2024 episode 16. So, that’s what we’ll be using as a source for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
In tonight’s new episode 16, 50 year old American actress, comedian, screenwriter and producer Kristen Wiig is going to show up to handle the hosting duties. This will be her 5th time hosting the show. Also, she’s currently starring in and executive producing a new show called, “Palm Royale,” which debuted on AppleTV+ back on March 20, 2024.
NBC’s official description for Kristen Wiig’s appearance on tonight’s new episode reads like this, “Kristen Wiig will return to Studio 8H to host “SNL” for the fifth time on April 6. Wiig stars in and executive produces the new series “Palm Royale,” premiering March 20 on AppleTV+.”
26 year old English singer and songwriter Raye will show up to deliver some musical performances for you guys. It will be her first appearance on the show as a musical guest. Earlier this year, Raye made history by winning 6 BRIT Awards for her very first studio album titled, “My 21st Century Blues.”
NBC’s official description for Raye’s musical appearance on tonight’s new episode reads like this, “Raye will take the stage for her first appearance as musical guest. Raye made history this year by winning 6 BRIT Awards, the most ever awarded to an artist in any single year, for her debut album, “My 21st Century Blues.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that Saturday Night LIVE will be brand new again tonight, April 5, 2024, and it’s scheduled to show at approximately 10:29 pm central standard time.
