New American Idol April 7 & 8, 2024 Episodes Preview Revealed
Hey, “American Idol” fans. We’re back with some new American Idol preview information for you guys. Yep, ABC is going to air another new episode of tonight, April 7, 2024 and tomorrow night, April 8, 2024, and we’re going to tell you as much about these two episodes 8 and 9 as we can.
We were able to get some official press releases for these new episodes 8 and 9 straight from ABC. So, that will certainly be our source for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
We’ll start off with tonight’s new episode 8, you guys are going to see 12 of the top 24 contestants serve up a performance over at the Disney Aulani Resort in Hawaii. The contestants will be performing for America’s vote in these episodes and from here on out.
Tori Kelly will show up to mentor the contestants in this episode. She will also join the judges panel. Also, last year’s American Idol champion Iam Tongi will show up to give a special performance.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new episode 8 reads like this, “American Idol: Top 24 at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii Part #1. The top 24 travel to Hawaii, with 12 taking the stage for America’s first vote this season; Tori Kelly mentors, performs and joins the judges on the panel; reigning American Idol Iam Tongi performs.”
In tomorrow night’s new episode 9 of this season 22, you guys will see a part 2 to these Hawaii performances. The second group of 12 contestants from the top 24 will show up to deliver their performances.
39 year old American country singer, rapper and songwriter Jelly Roll will show up to mentor the contestants in this episode. Jelly Roll will also join the judges’ panel. The top 24 contestants will be competing to make it into the top 20 during this portion of the season.
ABC’s official description for tomorrow night’s new episode 9 of American Idol season 22 reads like this,”Top 24 at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii Part #2. Filmed at Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Ko Olina Hawai’i, 12 of the Top 24 hit the stage for another night of star-making performances as America votes for the top 20. Jelly Roll mentors, performs and joins the judges on the panel.”
ABC’s press releases confirmed that the next, new episode 8 is airing tonight, April 7, 2024, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time. The new episode 9 is airing tomorrow night, April 8, 2024 at the same time. Both episodes are 2-hour events. So, expect them to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
