Survivor April 17, 2024 Voted Off Tevin Davis In A Major Blindside (Recap)
Hey, “Survivor” fans. Tonight, April 17, 2024, another new episode of Survivor’s current season 46 did show up, and we saw another contestant get totally blindsided at the end during quite a fiasco of a tribal council meeting.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with talk about the last tribal council meeting, which sent Soda and Tim packing. Ben told the private cams he was upset about Tim going. He said, “Tim was my rock.”
Q told the private cams he’s looking to get Venus out next to stop her from leaking valuable information. Venus talked about how she thinks she was responsible for getting Soda voted out of the game. Tevin told the private cams, “Venus is next to go. So, she can keep falsely bragging about how she got Soda out.” Liz told the private cams she’s always been bringing up Soda’a name as a target well before Venus or Tevin.
Charlie told the private cams, “I’m trying to stay on Q’s good side because he’s creating some serious alliances.” At one point, Q told Charlie “I want to work with you,” and he told Charlie about an alliance he’s already working with called, “The 6.” Charlie told Maria he didn’t like the 6 because Tim was in the 6, and he went home.
Q suggested that they play a game of hide and seek. Then, Q told the private cams he wanted to use the hide and seek game to gain information saying,”If I can’t find you in plain sight in hide and seek, I can’t find you in this game. You would take a shot at me.” He said Ben and Hunter are in trouble with him because they won Hide and Seek.
Liz told the private cams she’s plotting to get Tevin out because he was able to mastermind getting Soda out without her even knowing it. Tiffany told Tevin she doesn’t want to get Venus out. So, Tevin told Q about it. Q told the private cams, “Tiff needs to go if she’s not playing my game in getting the 6 to the end.”
Tiff suggested Maria’s name to Q as a possible target. Maria is in the 6. So, Q told the private cams, “That gives me ammunition to go after Tiff.” Q told Charlie and Maria he wants Tiff out. Q told Tevin and Hunter, “I need to blindside Tiff.”
After all of that, host Jeff Probst showed up with the new immunity challenge. During it, they had to hold onto a pole for as long as they could. The last person holding on, won. Before they started, Jeff offered enough rice to last til the end of this season if 4 players agreed to sit out, or if two people agreed to give up their vote at the next tribal council meeting. Nobody agreed to either one of the deals. So, everyone played for immunity. It came down to Hunter and Charlie, and Hunter edged him out to pull off the win.
Q told the private cams, “Tiff has gotta go for targeting someone in the 6 alliance.” Tevin told the private cams, “Tiff will be blindsided at tribal council.” Liz told Ben and Maria she wants Tevin gone. She told the private cams, “I wanna blindside Tevin.” She campaigned targeting Tevin to Venus, and she agreed.
Venus told the private cams, “It’s about time someone realized how much of a threat Tevin is.” Kenzie also told the private cams, “Tevin’s gotta go.” Tiff, Liz and Kenzie were all seen agreeing to the plan to vote off Tevin.
Tiff told Q about the plan to vote off Tevin, saying that most people are on board with it. Q talked with Liz about the plan to target Tevin to confirm it was her idea. Q told Hunter that they don’t have the numbers to save Tevin.
Hunter told the private cams, “I want to save Tevin.” So, Hunter campaigned to try and keep Tevin and go back to voting Tiff off. Liz said she was sticking to her plans to vote off Tevin. Charlie told the private cams, “I think Tevin is the best option to vote off. However, Tiff brought up Maria’s name at one point, and Maria is my number one.”
At the tribal council meeting, Q asked everyone to vote him out because he feels that there’s confusion with the vote due to a mistake he made, and he just wants everyone to have a new beginning. Everyone was really confused and didn’t think it would help at all.
Tevin said, “I’m not going to coddle a grown man to stay in a game where $1 million dollars is on the line.” Everyone started whispering and scrambling about what to do about the vote.
Venus ended up getting 2 votes, and Tevin got a whopping 6 votes. So, with the 6 votes, Tevin was indeed voted off. He said, “So shocking. Good luck ya’ll” on the way out.
Tevin told the private cams, “I was absolutely blindsided. I am so thankful for the opportunity to place this game.”
