New 20/20 June 14 & 21, 2024 Episodes Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “20/20” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some super bad news for you guys tonight. Yep, it turns out that ABC has some other important TV obligations to fill tonight, June 14, 2024, and next Friday night, June 21, 2024. So, they are not airing new episodes of 20/20 on those nights.
According to one of our sources, you can expect to see 20/20 to finally return to action on Friday night, June 28, 2024 in its usual 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly try to remember that very important date and time if you can.
In the meantime, we do have the official reasons why ABC is not airing new episodes of 20/20 tonight and next Friday night. According to the TV guide listings, ABC is clearing out their entire primetime schedule to provide LIVE coverage for some major sporting events. Tonight, they’re going to provide LIVE coverage for the 4th game of the 2024 NBA basketball Finals, featuring the Boston Celtic vs. The Dallas Mavericks.
ABC’s official description for their LIVE coverage of the 2024 NBA Finals game 4 reads like this, “2024 NBA Finals. Boston Celtics at Dallas Mavericks LIVE. The Mavericks try to stay alive as they host the Celtics for Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Boston seeks a record 18th title after holding off Dallas in Game 3 for a 106-99 victory and a 3-0 series lead. Jaylen Brown (BOS) had 30 points and eight assists.”
Next Friday night, June 21, 2024, ABC is going to provide LIVE coverage for game 6 of the 2024 Stanely Cup Hockey Final. ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “2024 Stanley Cup Final
Florida Panthers at Edmonton Oilers LIVE. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final rolls on with Game 6 between the Panthers and Oilers. Florida played for the Cup in 1996, falling in four games to recently relocated Colorado, and played Vegas in last year’s final, losing in five games. (If necessary).”
If any of you guys also happen to be NBA basketball or NHL Hockey fans, you might still want to hit up ABC tonight and next Friday night to check out all the championship game action. If you’re not fans of those sports and only want to see some new episodes of 20/20, you will certainly want to ditch ABC on Friday nights until that June 28, 2024 date rolls around.
Again, it’s been confirmed that 20/20 will be MIA (missing in action) both tonight, June 14, 2024 and next Friday night, June 21, 2024. It should be back in action on Friday night,June 28, 2024 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.
