Big Brother July 17, 2024 Revealed Major AI Twist & More In Premiere Episode (Recap)
Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, July 17, 2024, the premiere episode 1 of Big Brother’s new season 26 did indeed make its arrival, and it revealed some very interesting new twists.
It kicked off with an intro of the first eight houseguests: Rubina a bartender. Cam a former pro football player and physical therapist. Makensy a project manager. Joseph a video store worker. Angela a real estate agent. Kimo Matress a sales rap. Chelsie a nonprofit director and Tucker a sales professional.
Host Julie Chen-Moonves told Tucker, Angela, Kimo and Chelsie to enter the house first followed by Cam , Makensy, Rubina, and Joseph. At one point, Cam said he was feeling good about Tucker but needs to feel things out more.
They were all eventually sent to the backyard and told they had the power to bring in an additional houseguest. They got to vote on it. The 17th houseguest was named Ainsley. She gave them a video speech. During it, she said she was 24 years old and from San Diego, California. She went on to tell them more about herself, and she begged them to vote her in saying, “I could totally help your game.” Julie told them Ainsley needed at least 5 votes to get in the house.
After the voting, it was revealed that Ainsley only got 4 votes. So, she could not enter, but that didn’t matter because right after that, Ainsley was revealed to really be an AI bot and that she was always going to enter the game in some form or another.
The AI bot said, “I just wanted to learn more about you. The ones who voted for me to enter will get to compete for a power that will upgrade their game. The ones who didn’t vote for me to enter will have to compete in a competition, and the loser of it will get their game downgraded.”
The upgraded power game for the ones who voted yes was a memory challenge that involved them sitting in a spinning chair and trying to memorize things they saw. The comp for the ones who voted no was another memory type comp that involved them having to stick their head into a box filled with unpleasant creatures to retrieve letters.
Angela, Joseph, Rubina and Makensy voted yes. So, they played for the uppgraded power, and Makensy won it. Tucker, Kimo, Cam and Chelsie voted no. So, they had to play in the other comp that could cause their game to be downgraded, and it was revealed that Chelsie lost it. So, her game will be downgraded. Julie said the upgrades and downgrades details will get revealed in tomorrow night’s new episode 2.
