20/20 July 19, 2024 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “20/20” fans. We’re back to let you know that another repeat episode of 20/20 is headed your way tonight, July 19, 2024. It’s certainly possible that some of you guys might not have seen this particular repeat episode . So, we do have some preview information for it.
The folks over at ABC did serve up a revised, official press release for tonight’s repeat episode. So, we will certainly dive into it for this preview session. Tonight’s repeat episode is officially labeled/titled, “Lock the Door Behind You.” It originally aired way back on May 13, 2022.
In this repeat episode, the 20/20 team took a deep look at a story about a serial killer named Henry Louis Wallace. He stalked, raped and killed numerous women that he actually knew personally. Legendary criminal profiler and psychiatric nurse Ann Burgess came on this episode to give some firsthand insight into the killer’s state of mind.
There’s footage of Ann interviewing Henry just before he went on trial. 20/20 also interviewed one of the women who survived an attack from Henry Louis Wallace.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s repeat episode of 20/20 reads like this, “For two years, serial killer Henry Louis Wallace stalked the city of Charlotte, North Carolina, undetected, raping and murdering young Black women – almost all of whom he knew personally as neighbors, friends, or coworkers.
Now, 25 years after his conviction as Wallace remains on death row, “20/20″ reports on the details of the case, questions whether the women’s race played a factor in the rigor of police investigations and provides insight into the killer’s mind through overlooked clues and analysis by legendary criminal profiler and psychiatric nurse Ann Burgess.
The program features footage of Burgess interviewing Wallace ahead of his trial and an interview with Tyrece Woods, who discusses life after surviving an attack by Wallace at just 10 months old.”
Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that 20/20 is arriving with a repeat episode tonight, July 19, 2024, and it will start at approximately 8 pm central standard time. It will be a 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
