Dancing With The Stars October 15 Eliminated Brooks Nader & Gleb Savchenko (Recap)
Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. Tonight, October 15, 2024, another new, performances/results episode for Dancing With The Stars’ current season 33 did indeed hit the air, and another unlucky couple did get the boot at the end of it.
The theme for tonight’s new episode was called, “Dedication Night.” All the judges: Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli were on hand with guest judge Mark Ballas.
Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong kicked off the performances with a Contemporary number. Afterwards, Derek said, I liked the leg extensions even though the side-by-sides were a little out of sync and there was a bobble on a lift.” Mark said, “I want to see you dig a little deeper and tell your story a little bit more.”
Bruno said,”I loved the quality of movement, but you need more intensity in your movements.” Carrie Ann said,”You’re a talented dancer with beautiful lines, but I want to see you take command and demand attention a little more.” Carrie Ann gave Chandler an 8 score, Derek an 8, Mark an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 32 points out of a possible 40 points.
Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold delivered an Argentine Tango dance. Afterwards, Bruno said, “Now we are in business! I could see the character come out. You were leading the dance.” Carrie Ann said, “That dance had impact. However, you were still a tiny bit wobbly.” Derek said, “You stepped it up at just the right time with challenging choreography and a lot of risk.”
Mark said, “I liked seeing you in this role with your intensity, but you need to work on your frame a little.” Carrie Ann gave Stephen and Rylee an 8 score, Derek a 9, Mark an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 33 points.
Danny Amendola and Witney Carson performed a Contemporary dance. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “This was a breakthrough and powerful. Your coach would be proud of you.” Derek said, “I thank you for committing to this art form as an athlete.”
Mark said, “I have enjoyed watching your growth all season, and I was especially impressed with your strength and control in the lifts.” Bruno said, “This was by far your best performance, and it was also technically strong.” Carrie Ann gave Danny and Witney a 9 score, Derek a 9, Mark a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 36 points.
Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach danced a Rumba routine. Afterwards, Derek said, “I smiled from watching you dance, and you applied the advice on your arms.” Mark said, “This performance lacked a little hip action, but great job.”
Bruno said, “This performance had a soft, gentle quality, but your movements still feel a little disconnected.” Carrie Ann said,”I saw refinement and beautiful lines, but you start to bounce a little when you get nervous.” Carrie Ann gave Dwight and Daniella a 7 score, Derek an 8, Mark a 7, Bruno a 7 for a total of 29 points.
Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy delivered a Rumba number. Afterwards, Bruno said, “This needed to feel real, and you did that tonight.” Carrie said,”I saw more lightness, and you’re very clear in your intention and communication.” Mark said, “This performance was elegant and beautiful with continuous movement. You need to put more trust in Val.”
At this point, Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Hough delivered a special routine. After that, Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko danced a Salsa number. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “You were in your power and danced in the ground.” Derek said,”You did a great job. The steps were a little big.”
Mark said, “You have all the elements to be a great dancer, but it sits high.” Bruno said,”This performance was mouth-watering spicy. It was a good performance.” Carrie Ann gave Brooks and Gleb an 8 score, Derek an 8, Mark an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 32 points.
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson delivered a Viennese Waltz routine. Afterwards, Bruno said,”I asked for a prince, but Joey gave me a king. It was smooth and correct.” Carrie said, “You’re phenomenal, but there was a glitchiness in the small steps.”
Derek said,”This performance was smooth with effortless pivots.” Mark said, “You stayed flat and flew across the floor. You had musicality in the body.” Carrie Ann gave Joey and Jenna a 9 score, Derek a 9, Mark a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 36 points.
Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten danced a Rumba number. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “You had the most delicate and refreshing dance, plus you had courage, and you didn’t shortchange any move.” Derek said,”Sometimes, the mistakes unlock something in you. The rumba takes control, and you did it beautifully.”
Mark said, “You have beautiful arms, but I want you to express them even more.” Bruno said,”This performance was a total redemption. The shapes and lines were beautiful, and you shouldn’t doubt yourself.” Carrie Ann gave Ilona and Alan an 8 score, Derek an 8, Mark an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total of 32 points.
Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber wrapped up the performances with a Foxtrot number. Afterwards, Derek said, “This performance was beautiful. Your arms and hands were better, but you need to close your feet during turns.” Mark said, “I love how you throw your body into it, but I wanted a softer position in frame.”
Bruno said, “Your frame can be good, but you lost it a little at times.” Carrie Ann said,”I want to see you tighten up and own your movements more, and Sasha needs to watch the lifts.” Carrie Ann gave Jenn and Sasha an 8 score, Derek an 8, Mark an 8, Bruno an 8 for a total 32 points.
After all of that, it was revealed that all the couples were safe tonight except for Brooks Nader & Gleb
