New 48 Hours November 16 Episode Preview Reveals Jealousy Murder Scandal And More
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. we’re back with another new preview session. In this one, we’re going to give you an idea of what to expect to see from the next, new episode 9 of this current season 37 of 48 hours, which is due to show up tonight, November 16, 2024.
The CBS people put out an official press release for this new episode 9. So, we will certainly take a look at it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
First thing’s first. This new episode 9 does have an official title attached to it. It’s called, “The Plot to Eliminate Alyssa Burkett.” In tonight’s new episode 9, the 48 Hours team is going to take a deep look at a story about a Carrollton, Texas woman named Alyssa Burkett.
Way back on October 2, 2020, Alyssa’s mother Teresa Collard received an urgent call that asked her to rush to Alyssa’s place of work, and she could already sense the unthinkable had happened. Alyssa was in a bitter custody battle with the father of her 1 year old daughter Andrew Beard, and he quickly became the main suspect for Alyssa’s murder, but this case got even more complex. 48 Hours correspondent Peter Van Sant handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
CBS’ official description for this new episode 9 of 48 Hours season 37 reads like this, “On the morning of Oct. 2, 2020, in Carrollton, Texas, a mother received a frantic call urging her to rush to her daughter’s workplace. As she made her way there, she already sensed the unthinkable. 48 HOURS correspondent Peter Van Sant takes viewers inside the tragic and harrowing case, uncovering a story of jealousy, obsession and murder in “The Plot to Eliminate Alyssa Burkett.”
Burkett was in the middle of a bitter custody dispute with Andrew Beard, the father of her 1-year-old daughter. The all-new episode explores how the investigation quickly zeroed in on Beard. Carrollton Police detective Jeremy Chevallier recalls that the case took a clear direction from the start. But as it turned out, Beard was only the beginning of this complex story.” An alternate description tells us, “IN A SMALL TEXAS TOWN, A MOTHER’S WORST NIGHTMARE BECAME A TRAGIC REALITY.”
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens tonight, November 16, 2024 in the 9 pm central standard time slot. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
