New Chicago Fire November 27 & December 4 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Chicago Fire” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back on here to give you guys some very bad news. It turns out that episode 8, which aired last Wednesday night, November 20, 2024 was indeed the Fall finale episode of this current season 13. That means NBC is not airing the next, new episode 9 tonight, November 27, 2024 and for many more weeks.
According to one of our sources, NBC doesn’t plan to air the new episode 9 until Wednesday night, January 8, 2025 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to memorize that very important date and time if you can.
In the meantime, we did find out what NBC is airing instead of new, Chicago Med episodes tonight and next Wednesday night. According to the TV guide listings, NBC is going to air a new, Saturday Night LIVE, Thanksgiving special titled, “A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving Special.”
NBC’s official description for this new Thanksgiving special reads like this, “The iconic late-night program highlights a star-studded collection of Thanksgiving-themed sketches from its 50 seasons.”
Next Wednesday night, December 4, 2024, NBC is going to air a new, LIVE Christmas special titled, “92nd Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center. NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “The 92nd annual tree-lighting ceremony kicks off the holiday season with a dazzling display of musical talents, star-studded surprises and the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree; Kelly Clarkson hosts.”
If any of you guys find this alternate line of programming to be enticing at all, you might still want to keep NBC on your primetime watchlist tonight and next Wednesday night to check out all of that out. If you’re only interested in seeing brand new episodes of Chicago Fire, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for Wednesday nights until that January 8, 2025 date gets here.
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of Chicago Fire’s current season 13 is scheduled to finally hit the air on Wednesday night, January 8, 2025 in the 8 pm central standard time slot.
