New SWAT December 20 & 27 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “S.W.A.T.” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back in your faces with some pretty bad news. It turns out that the last episode 8, which aired last Friday night, December 13, 2024 was the Fall finale episode of this current season 8 of SWAT.
That means the CBS people are not airing the next, new episode 9 tonight, December 20, 2024 and for many more Friday nights to come.
According to one of our sources, CBS currently isn’t scheduled to air the new episode 9 until Friday night, January 31, 2025. During that time, it will air in a new, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to remember that very important date and time if you can.
In the meantime, we did take a look at what the CBS people plan to throw up in SWAT’s empty time slot tonight and next Friday night. According to the TV Guide listings, ABC is going to serve up a new Christmas special tonight titled, “National Christmas Tree Lighting.”
CBS’ official description for tonight’s new Christmas special reads like this, “The official tree lighting on the Ellipse in President’s Park in Washington, D.C.; performers include Adam Blackstone, Muni Long, Stephen Sanchez, Trombone Shorty, James Taylor, The War and Treaty and Trisha Yearwood; Mickey Guyton hosts.”
Next Friday night, December 27, 2024, ABC is going to air a new episode of The Greatest @HomeVideos. It will be the 3rd episode of this current season 4 titled, “Holiday Edition.”
ABC’s description for this new episode 3 of The Greatest@HomeVideos season 4 reads like this, “A holiday special featuring a delightful mix of cute, hilarious, over-the-top, creative and incredibly heartfelt videos that are perfect for the festive season.”
After the December 27, 2024 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what the CBS people will air instead of new SWAT episodes on Friday nights until that January 31, 2025 date rolls around.
Again, it’s been unofficially confirmed by one of our sources that the next, new episode 9 of SWAT’s current season 8 is scheduled to finally make its debut on Friday night, January 31, 2025 in a new, 9 pm central standard time slot.
