The 20/20 December 27 Episode Is Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “20/20” fans. We’re back in action with some not-so-great news for you guys. Yep, it turns out that the people over at ABC have elected not to air a new 20/20 episode tonight, December 27, 2024.
Nope, instead, we’re being told by the TV Guide people that ABC is going to dish up a repeat episode of 20/20. Some of you guys might not have seen this repeat episode when it originally showed up on the air. So, we do have some preview information for it.
ABC put out a press release for this repeat episode. So, we will definitely refer to it for this little preview session. Let’s get into it.
Tonight’s repeat episode is officially titled, “The Kill List.” It originally aired way back on February 10, 2023. In this repeat episode, the 20/20 team took a deep look at a story about a Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin woman named Julie Jensen.
She appeared to have the perfect life before she turned up dead in her own bedroom just two weeks before Christmas. The investigators who worked this case went to work on trying to find out just what the heck was really going on with her seemingly perfect marriage to Mark Jensen.
Wit Johnson handled the reporting duties for this episode and case. This episode featured interviews with Paul Griffin, Julie’s brother; Bob Jambois and Carli McNeill, prosecutors on the case; Ed Klug, a former coworker of Mark; David Thompson, who was in jail with Mark; and Ruth Vorwald and Kim Noble, friends of Julie. The program also features archival interviews with Ted and Margaret Wojt, who received a letter from Julie that changed the entire investigation.
ABC’s official description for this repeat episode of 20/20 reads like this, “Julie Jensen seemed to have it all ? her loving husband, Mark Jensen, two beautiful children and an idyllic life in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
When she was found dead in her bedroom just weeks before Christmas, her family and friends were devastated. But, what was really going on in Julie and Mark’s marriage, and could it have led to her murder? “Good Morning America Weekend” co-anchor and “World News Tonight Saturday” anchor Whit Johnson reports on the details of the 25-year investigation into this death and the conclusion of the dramatic trial.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed that particular repeat episode of 20/20 when it originally aired, you might still want to hang with ABC tonight to give it a look-see. If you did already see this repeat episode, and you really don’t want to watch it again, you will definitely want to make some other plans for tonight at your earliest convenience.
Again, it’s been confirmed by TV Guide and ABC that 20/20 will indeed be a repeat episode tonight, December 27, 2024, and it’s scheduled to air in the 8 pm central standard time slot. It’s a two-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
