The Bachelor March 3 Eliminated Dina Lupancu In Hometowns Episode (Recap)
Earlier tonight, March 3, 2025, ABC aired another new episode of The Bachelor 2025 edition with headliner Grant Ellis, and we saw another unlucky lady get eliminated at the end of it. This was the hometowns date episode so, Grant went to visit Juliana first in her hometown of Massachusetts.
She took him to get some pizza. They actually made the pizza at the restaurant. They had a blast doing it as they had a little food fight at one point.
Afterwards, they talked. She told him, “I haven’t brought someone to meet my family in a really long time. I don’t take this lightly, but I think you’re worth it.” She described certain members of her family to him. Grant told the private cams, “I’m nervous to meet Juliana’s family because I really like her, and I don’t wanna screw this up.”
They went to meet her family. Grant talked with Juliana’s mother Donna. He also talked with her father Carl. Grant told him, “I’m really attracted to Juliana’s character. I really see her as being a great partner for me, and I admire you and the way you protect your family.” Carl told the private cams, Grant seems like very level-headed guy.”
Juliana talked with her sister Dominique. Dominique told the private cams, “I’m not worried about Grant being right for her. I’m just worried about her getting her heart broken.”
Juliana talked with her father Carl. He told her of Grant, “I love the guy. He seems ready to be in a relationship.”
Juliana told the private cams, “Without a doubt, Grant would fit in well with my family.” Grant told the private cams, “Juliana’s family made me feel welcome and happy.”
Grant told Juliana I’m falling for you, and they kissed. Juliana told the private cams, “I’m just worried that Grant will be doing this with three other girls, but I really do feel like Grant’s my person. I just don’t wanna go through heartbreak again.”
Grant went to see Zoe in her hometown of New York. She took him to a modeling studio. They posed for engagement photos and kissed during them. Afterwards, they talked. He told her, “I see a lot of things in you that I can relate to.”
Zoe told him he will meet her sister, aunt and uncle because she had a falling out with her adoptive parents. Grant told her, “I could not have chosen a better person to go on this hometown date with.”
After all of that, Grant met Zoe’s family. He was greeted with smiles and hugs by Zoe’s family. Zoe talked with her aunt and uncle. She told them, “I think Grant complements me. He’s not intimidated by me. He’s very supportive, and I think that’s what I need.”
Zoe talked with her sister Faith. Zoe told her, “Grant’s been great thus far, and he’s so cute.” Grant talked with Faith. She asked Grant, “Why didn’t you ever have a 1 on 1 date with Zoe?” He said, “We didn’t have a 1 on 1 date because I felt like she was holding back.
Our connection started later, but it was right on time. Right now, I like Zoe a lot. I think my feelings will continue to grow for her.” Faith told the private cams, “I do like Grant. I think he’s a good match for Zoe.”
Grant told the private cams, “Zoe and I needed this date. We connected on a lot of levels.” Grant and Zoe talked to wrap things up. He told her, “I’m excited to see where our relationship will go from here.”
Grant went to see Litia in her hometown of Wyoming. She took him to ride horses. Afterwards, they talked. She told him more about her Mormon family. Grant told her, “I’m not nervous. I just don’t know enough about it, but I’m here with an open heart and an open mind.”
Grant met her family. It was a huge family. They played games and had a lot of fun to kick things off. Grant talked with Litia’s father Rob. Grant told him, “I really do have feelings for Litia.” Rob told him, “You don’t have to be Mormon. I like that you’re a man of faith.”
Grant talked with Litia’s mother Maurie. He told her, “I am falling in love with your daughter.” She told him, “I hope you feel comfortable being around us. Just as long as you believe in God and know that he’ll be important in your life, that’s all that matters to me.”
Litia talked with her grandfather. She told him, “I think I love Grant.” Litia talked with her mother. She told her, “I haven’t told Grant I’m falling for him yet because I feel scared. I do think I love him. I want to give him a family, and for him to see what it feels like.”
Grant and Litia talked again to wrap things up. She told him, “I’ve had strong feelings for a long time, and I’m falling in love with you.” Grant said, “I’m falling in love with you too.” Grant told the private cams, “I have no doubt Litia would make a great wife.”
Grant went to see Dina in her hometown of Chicago. She told him her family doesn’t really agree with this process. So, they will not be there, but Grant will get to meet her friends. Grant told her, “It sucks a little bit, but it’s real. I respect it. I understand everything doesn’t always go smoothly.” Grant told the private cams, “It is concerning that Dina’s family isn’t here.”
Dina took him to some sort of amusement park to play some games and stuff. Then, they eventually met some of her best friends in the world.
Grant talked with Dina’s friends Lauren and Enrita. He told them wonderful things about Dina, and they all agreed that she has a big heart. Grant told the private cams, “Dina’s family not buying in could be a make or break.”
Next, Grant talked with former Bachelor headliner Joey Graziadei. Joey gave Grant some advice on how to handle this late stage of the process. Joey told him to listen to his gut feeling whenever he doesn’t feel like he has enough information.
Finally, at the rose ceremony, Grant gave: Litia, Juliana and Zoe a rose. That means poor Dina did not get a rose. So, she was eliminated.
Grant walked her out and told her, “This isn’t easy for me. I hope I’m making the right decision. I was developing feelings for you.” Dina said, “I will always treasure the time we spent together. I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for. Thank you and good luck.”
Dina told the private cams, “I did really try. He made me feel comfortable with being completely honest. Grant will make somebody so happy.”
