American Idol March 23 Episode 4 To Feature A Paralyzed Contestant And More
ABC is confirmed to serve up another new episode of their hit singing show American Idol tonight, March 23, 2025, and it will feature more audition rounds, a paralyzed contestant and more. This episode is the 4th one for this current season 23.
According to ABC’s official episode 4 press release information, this episode will feature a new, 4th round of initial auditions. That means another new batch of contestants will show up to perform for the celebrity judges in hopes of wowing them enough to put them through to the next round. The celebrity judges: Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood will all be on hand once again.
ABC’s official description for this new episode 4 of American Idol season 23 reads like this, “Auditions continue as Luke, Lionel, Carrie and Ryan are wowed by exceptional talent and unforgettable performances.”
ABC also released a new preview clip for this new episode 4. It features a paralyzed from the waist down contestant named Sam Sparks. He’s 25 years old. He incurred his current physical condition from a brutal car accident.
During his performance, he sang an original song of his called, “Colorado Gray.” Afterwards, Carrie said, “I like the song. You’ve got a cool voice to go along with it.” She pointed to her throat and heart, and said, “You’ve definitely got something here and here that I would like to hear more of.”

Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that another new episode of American Idol’s current season 23 is scheduled to show up tonight, March 23, 2025 in the 7 pm central standard time slot.
