Rapper Young Scooter Reportedly Shot Dead In Atlanta Today
According to Timesnownews, 39 year old rapper Young Scooter was reportedly shot dead in Atlanta, Georgia earlier today, March 28,2025.
The location was near the State Farm Arena where the NCAA Men’s College Basketball tournament is taking place. Their sources are claiming that Young Scooter was shot, but the police have yet to confirm this information.
Local News Station FOX 5 Atlanta reported that a person was shot just blocks away from the State Farm Arena, which is currently hosting the NCAA March Madness tournament. Their reports are claiming that the shooting victim was indeed Kenneth Edward Bailey aka “Young Scooter.”
Again, the police have not officially confirmed these reports. Some additional information reveals that the shooting took place at the intersection of Luckie Street NW and Mills Street NW.
The victim was found with gunshot wounds at the scene of the shooting and was taken to a hospital in critical condition, and the victim reportedly passed away.
There’s also a couple of social media posts that claim Young Scooter had passed away. One of them reads like this, “According to close sources, ATL rapper Young Scooter has passed away today on his birthday. It is alleged that it was caused by the Atlanta Police Department. Twitter Link.
Young Scooter was known for his mixtapes and collaborations with artists like Future, Gucci Mane and Young Thug. His music blended trap and street rap themes.
