The Amazing Race Carson McCalley & Jack Dodge Won Season 37 In Finale Episode (Recap)

Earlier tonight, CBS aired the season finale episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 37, and we finally found out who won this season at the end of it.

Tonight’s new episode kicked off with a continuation of last night’s episode. It was right in the middle of revealing which three teams made it into the finals. Jonathan & Ana and Alyssa & Josiah were racing to make it to the pit stop to get the 3rd and final spot.

Jonathan & Ana ended up, getting there in 3rd place to just narrowly avoid elimination. That means poor Alyssa & Josiah arrived last and were eliminated just short of the finals.

Next, the final three teams started the final leg of this season by flying to Miami, Florida. When they got there, they had to take a taxi to Crandon Park Marina and ride a speedboat to find their next clue.

After the teams successfully completed the speedboat task, they got hit with a Miami Scramble challenge. It consisted of them having to complete three different water tasks titled, “Sail,” “Soar,” and “Save.”

In the “Save” task, they had to do some lifeguard training and rescue a dummy out in the water. In the “Soar” task, it was a Roadblock that required one team member to flyboard for sixty seconds. In the “Sail” task, they had to sail a boat around Valentine’s Island to get the third piece of their clue.

After the teams successfully completed the three Miami Scramble tasks, they were told to go to the Calle Ocho Domino Park to get their next clue. When they got there, they had to find Ice Palace Film Studios. When they fund it, they got hit with a task that required them to complete a three-dimensional puzzle of details from the race to get their next clue.

After the teams successfully completed the three-dimensional puzzle challenge, they were told to hit up the LoanDepot Park, which was the finish line for this leg and the entire season.

Carson & Jack made it to the finish line in first place. So, they are the winners of this season! The won the $1 million dollar grand prize. Han & Holden came in second place, and Jonathan & Ana showed up last.
