New 911 Nashville Season 2 Is Happening. ABC Renewed It Early

Tonight, May 7, 2026, ABC aired the 18th episode for 9-1-1; Nashville’s current, premiere season 1, and it was, in fact, the finale episode.

So, now, according to a recent report from Deadline.com , it has been confirmed that ABC did renew 9-1-1: Nashville for a brand new season 2.

That means more stories will continue for this series with another new onslaught of brand new episodes in the 2026-2027 season. Currently, we don’t have any intel on how many episodes season 2 will serve up, or when it’s scheduled to officially premiere.

We’re going to have to wait until ABC releases all that information at a later date. It’s reported that ABC did give this series an early renewal back in March of 2026 along with the original 9-1-1 series. So, they were quite happy with its performance. They didn’t even have to wait for the current season to wrap up.

According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, 9-1-1: Nashville season 2 managed to average 3.336 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.24 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 17, which aired last Thursday night, April 30, 2026, drew in 3.070 million LIVE viewers.

The most-viewed episode was episode 15 with 4.020 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 6 with 2.702 million LIVE viewers.

The highest-rated episode was episode 10 with a 0.32 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 17 with a 0.17 ratings score.
