New 911 Season 10 Is Happening. ABC Renewed It

Tonight, May 7, 2026, ABC aired the 18th episode for 9-1-1’s current season 9, and it was indeed the finale episode. That begs the question of will there be a new season 10?

Well, according to a recent report from the folks over at Deadline.com , there absolutely will be a new season 10. They’re reporting that back in March 2026, ABC actually gave it an early renewal announcement. So, you guys can expect to see more new episodes of 9-1-1 to pop up at some point in the future.

In their report, Deadline also mentioned that ABC renewed 9-1-1’s most recent spinoff 9-1-1: Nashville for a new season 2. So, if you like the spinoff, that’s some extra good news for you.

9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville are reportedly a couple of ABC’s top drama series. So, it was an easy renewal decision for ABC to make.

According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, 9-1-1 season 9 managed to average 4.091 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.33 ratings score. The most recent episode 17, which aired last Thursday night, May 7, 2026, drew in 3.966 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.31 ratings score.

The most-viewed episode was episode 10 with 4.550 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 6 with 3.645 million LIVE viewers.

The highest-rated episodes were episodes 8 and 16. They both tied for first place with a 0.37 ratings score. The lowest-rated episodes were episodes 11 and 15. They both tied for last place with a 0.29 ratings score.

Currently, there’s no premiere date or episode count for the new season 10 yet. We’ll have to give you that important info at a later date when it becomes available from ABC.
