New Survivor Season 36 Cast, Tribes, Theme And Start Date Revealed
Hey, “Survivor” fans. We’ve got some great news to share with you guys.The people over at Inside Survivor.com has somehow gotten a hold of the new cast list, tribes and theme for the new, upcoming season 36! We were also able to track down the premiere or start date for the new 36th season via the folks over at Entertainment Weekly.
The official premiere date for season 36 will land on Wednesday night, February 28,2018 starting at 8 pm eastern standard time and ending at 10 pm eastern standard time. So, season 36 will kick off with a two hour premiere episode. Be sure to mark that important date down on your TV calendars.
Now, let’s get into the theme, tribes and castmembers that will be featured in the brand new season 36. According to the folks at Inside Survivor.com, season 36 is rumored to have a theme named, “Survivor: Ghost Island.” They filmed it over in Fiji. It will feature 20 new castmembers that will be divided into two tribes of ten to get things started.
As for the castmembers, we’ll start with the men first. The first castmember is 25 year old Bradley Kleihege from Haslett, Michigan. He’s a law student. The second castmember is Brendan Shapiro. He’s a 41 year old teacher from Herndon, Virginia. The 3rd castmember is Chris Noble. He’s a 27 year old personal trainer and model from the big apple New York City, New York.
The 4th castmember is Domenick Abbate. He’s a 38 year old construction supervisor from Nesconset, New York. The 5th castmember is Donathan Hurley. He’s 26 years old from Kimper, Kentucky. His occupation was not listed. The 6th castmember is Jacob Derwin. He’s a 22 year old writer and musician from Merrick, New York.
The 7th castmember is James Lim. He’s a 24 year old management consultant from New York City, New York. The 8th castmember is Michael Yerger. He’s an 18 year old model from Los Angeles, California. The 9th castmember is Sebastian Noel. He’s a 22 year old deep sea fisherman from Viera,Florida. The 10th castmember is Wendell Holland. He’s a 33 year old furniture company owner from Philadelphia,PA.
Alright, now it’s time for the ladies. The 11th castmember is Angela Perkins. She’s a 43 year old from Cincinnati, Ohio. Her occupation is currently not listed. The 12th castmember is Chelsea Townsend. She’s a 25 year old NFL cheerleader from Los Angeles, California. The 13th castmember is Desiree “Des London” Afuye. She’s a 21 year old student and production assistant from New York City, New York.
The 14th castmember is Jenna Bowman. She’s a 23 year old account executive from Birmingham, Michigan. The 15th castmember is Kellyn Bechtold. She’s a 30 year old product development consultant from Chicago, Illinois. The 16th castmember is Laurel Johnson. She’s a 29 year old healthcare consultant from Minneapolis, MN. The 17th castmember is Libby Vincek. She’s a 24 year old model from Fort Worth, Texas.
The 18th castmember is Morgan Ricke. She’s a 29 year old whale trainer at Seaworld in Orlando, Florida. The 19th castmember is Stephanie Gonzalez. She’s a 26 year old graphics company owner from Ocala, Florida. The 20th and final castmember is Stephanie Johnson. She’s a 34 year old yoga instructor and triathlete from Chicago, Illinois.
So, as you can see, everyone will be brand new. There will be no returning castmembers from previous seasons this time around. The next thing we will do is let you guys know what the two tribe names will be along with who’s on them. The tribe names are “Malolo” and “Naviti.”
We’ll go ahead and start off with the Malolo tribe. The Malolo tribe will consist of: Jenna Bowman , Laurel Johnson, Libby Vincek, Stephanie Gonzalez, Stephanie Johnson, Brendan Shapiro, Donathan Hurley, Jacob Derwin, James Lim and Michael Yerger. They all will sport orange colors. Inside Survivor pointed out that Malolo is an inhabited volcanic island in the Mamunca Islands of Fiji.
The Naviti tribe will consist of: Bradley Kleihege, Chris Noble, Domenick Abbate, Sebastian Noel, Wendell Holland, Angela Perkins, Chelsea Townsend, Desiree Afuye, Kellyn Bechtold and Morgan Ricke. They will all sport purple colors. Inside Survivor pointed out that Naviti is a volcanic island in the Yasawa Islands of Fiji. We do expect Survivor host Jeff Probst to dish out some more details for the new 36th season later on tonight after the season 35 finale episode during the live show. Unfortunately, we don’t have any details on the plot or twists that the new season 36 will serve up. The title, “Ghost Island” does sound pretty intriguing. Hopefully, we will get some interesting new details after tonight’s season 35 finale show. If we do, we’ll definitely update this post or maybe make a new post about it. We’ll see. Stay tuned.
