Kevin also gave up some photos of the wedding which People.com posted on their site. Kevin was spotted sporting one of those Scottish kilts while walking down the isle with his bride. Everyone was laughing really hard and appeared to be having a really great time. The wedding ceremony was officiated by Rabbi Emma Lutz according to People.com.

The wedding was held at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California. Kevin’s kilt was described as being a traditional green kilt from 21st Century Kilts. Kevin’s bride Arielle wore a long-sleeved, floor-length, fitted and lace gown.

This is Kevin’s second marriage. He was previously married to his ex-wife Jane Parker. They were married for a very long 17 years before they decided call it quits. They had two kids together. They are Iona who is 15 years old and Joseph who is 17 years old. Currently, Kevin and Jane are sharing joint legal custody of them. They got divorced back in 2016.

In related news, we recently found an interesting article from ABC News. It turns out that some supposed studies are claiming that Grey’s Anatomy are giving some people a false expectation of what it’s like to be in a real life emergency room. The studies are claiming that the show could lead to unrealistic expectations and decreased patient satisfaction.

One of the study’s authors Dr. Jordan Weinberg explained more about the experiment to ABC News saying, “I was at a conference listening to a talk on patient satisfaction and began to think about patients’ preconceived experiences, especially following traumatic injury and how that might be shaped by watching television. National trauma registries are used in clinical outcomes research. So, we thought it might be good to create a fictional trauma registry and compare those patients to real ones.”

During the study, the researchers watched 269 episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and created a fictional trauma registry of 290 patients that were “treated” on the show. They compared these patients to 4,812 actual patients from the 2012 National Trauma Databank National Program Sample.

Jordan Weinberg told them the results saying, “Not surprisingly, we found that compared to real life, patients on television tend to have more of a binary outcome. Either they die. They actually die more frequently than in real life, or they recover really rapidly. It makes sense because the show needs to end in one hour and things need to be wrapped up. But real patients are more likely to need long-term care.”

Apparently, the study is claiming that Grey’s Anatomy actually makes these medical situations more deadly than what actually happens in real life situations. About three times as much as in real life. The Grey’s Anatomy patients were also more likely to go into surgery than in real life.

The show gives the perception of about 71 percent. In real life, it’s only about 25 percent. Then the last thing they mentioned was that the show gave the impression that only 6 percent of people ended up in long-term care. In real life, it’s more like 22 percent.

Jordan Weinberg said, “In this context, this is true for family especially if they are used to seeing patients either die or recover rapidly and be fully functional. If a loved one may not be waking up from a head injury or disability or may be looking at a long, drawn-out hospital course with potential long-term disability. It can be pretty frustrating. As caregivers, we need to be pretty cognizant about that. Take the time once the dust settles to educate the patient and family.”

The article when on to say that Weinberg plans to do more studies to see if patient satisfaction is actually linked to these subtle differences that Grey’s Anatomy provides.

Lastly, another all-new episode of Grey’s Anatomy is scheduled to hit the airwaves this Thursday night, March 8, 2018 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC. It’s going to be the 14th episode of this current season 14. It’s titled, “Games People Play.”

ABC’s short teaser description of it reads like this, “Maggie’s relationship with Clive starts to progress, and she invites him over for a game night to meet Meredith and Amelia. Meredith and Jo meet with the owner of the patent to the polymer they need for their project who coincidentally is a friend of the family.” Stay tuned.
