Grey’s Anatomy April Kepner Star Sarah Drew Fired Back At Hostile Fans

Grey’s Anatomy April Kepner Star Sarah Drew Fired Back At Hostile Fans

Hey “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We’ve got some pretty interesting new intel to share with guys in this article. It’s in regards to April Kepner star Sarah Drew. Apparently, she had a problem with a lot of the fans being very cruel to her Maggie Pierce co-star Kelly McCreary. These irate fans don’t like that Maggie is now romancing April’s ex Jackson played by actor Jesse Williams.

According to a new report from E! Online, Sarah decided to hit up her official Twitter account yesterday, May 8, 2018 to address all this fan hate that is being thrown at poor Kelly. She basically told the fans they need to stop attacking her friend.

Here’s what she wrote verbatim: “I need to say something to some of you. I say “some” because I know that many of you are not participating in this. Look, I know these characters mean so much to you. Believe me, they mean a lot to me too, but I do not feel defended when you attack my friends.

My beautiful, loving, loyal sister, Kelly, is a brilliant, fiercely talented team player who always shows up and dedicates herself to the stories she is asked to tell. Please stop attacking her for doing her job. When you hurt her, you hurt me. When you show kindness to her, you show kindness to me. Please be kind.” You guys can view Sarah’s Twitter message on her official Twitter account by Clicking Here.

According to a report from the New York Post’s Pagesix.com website, the angry Grey’s Anatomy fans think that Maggie’s new relationship with Jackson might have had something to do with the Sarah Drew’s April Kepner character getting written off the show.

As previously reported, Sarah Drew is actually about to make her exit from the show. She and her Arizona Robbins co-star Jessica Capshaw have been written off the show for reported “creative” reasons, but fans made an intense uproar about that too. Grey’s Anatomy’s main lady Ellen Pompeo addressed rumors and speculation that Sarah Drew and Jessica Capshaw’s layoffs were due to Ellen’s new contract that’s set to pay her a whopping $10 million dollars per season for the next two seasons.

Ellen hopped on her Twitter account to comment on Deadline.com’s report. She wrote, “Its unfortunate that @DEADLINE chooses to try to pit women against each other on #InternationalWomensDay #shameonyounotme. I’m a big girl. @DEADLINE can take shots at me if they want but to the fans please don’t fall into that trap. This is above my pay grade.”

Ellen also talked to E! News, and commented about the fans who are spreading these rumors. She told them,”It doesn’t help for fans who supposedly love us and love the show and support us to then try to cause problems for us—isn’t cool and ultimately it’s why women have to start speaking up, right?” Because it’s patriarchy at its best. Is to say because one woman gets something, the other women won’t. That’s what they’ve wanted us to believe, and I just have to continue forward and celebrate my female coworkers. Support them and uplift them and be transparent and honest is really all we can do.”

On a more positive note, there’s a new Grey’s Anatomy episode that’s airing tomorrow night, Thursday,May 10, 2018 at 7 pm central standard time on ABC. It’s the 23rd episode of this 24-episode season 14. So, you guys will definitely not want to miss it.
