NCIS Season 16’s Next, New Episode 9 Is Getting Delayed
Happy Monday,”NCIS” fans. We hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately, we have some bad news to share with you guys in this latest article. It turns out that your favorite show is getting delayed once again. The next, new episode 9 of this current 16th season will not be airing tomorrow night, Tuesday,November 27, 2018.
We have our theories as to why, but nothing official. As we enter this holiday period, we’re probably going to see a lot this start to happen. So, we’re just giving you guys a heads up right now. There is a bit of good news. The new episode 9 will only be delayed for one week. That means you can look forward to seeing it air in it’s same 7 pm central time slot on Tuesday night, December 4, 2018. So, be sure to mark that very important date down on your TV show calendars.
So, what is CBS going to show in place of your beloved NCIS tomorrow night? Well, according to the TV guide listings, CBS will be airing the classic 1964 Christmas special, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” That’s right, guys. If you want to experience a bit of nostalgia tomorrow night, be sure to still tune into CBS during the 7 pm central time slot. For those of you who have absolutely no interest in watching the Rudolph special, you’ll definitely want to make some other plans.
In the 8 pm central time slot, CBS will be airing a rerun of NCIS. It will be the 18th episode of season 15, which is titled, “Death From Above.” CBS’ official description for that episode reads like this, “The NCIS headquarters are evacuated after the team discovers a body and some bomb materials on the roof of the squad room.” If any of you guys missed that episode when it originally aired way back on March 27, 2018, tomorrow will be your lucky day to see it.
To cap off CBS’ main, primetime line up will be a rerun for CBS’ new FBI drama series. They’re re-airing the third episode of its first season which is titled, “Prey.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Bell, Zidan and the team investigate the murders of 18 young women with help from a survivor associated with the deceased.” If any of you guys are fans of that show and want to catch that rerun, you’ll definitely want to tune in to CBS during the 9pm central time slot.
In related news, CBS has released a press release for the next,new episode 9. Before we get into it, we must warn you guys that it does contain brief spoiler teasers. If you don’t want to see any spoiler teasers, it’s highly suggested that you stop reading this article right now. Alright, now that we got our spoiler warning out of the way, let’s jump into this episode 9 press release. To start off, the press release revealed that episode 9 is entitled, “Tailing Angie.”
Episode 9 sounds like it’s going to deliver some pretty interesting and possibly intense scenes as the NCIS crew does a big undercover stakeout for an old, unsolved robbery case after their lead suspect gets released from prison. CBS’ official description tells us, “When the lead suspect of an unsolved and high-profile robbery case is released from prison, the NCIS team resumes their investigation with an undercover stakeout.” An alternate description reads like this, “THE NCIS TEAM BEGINS AN UNDERCOVER STAKEOUT WHEN THEIR LEAD SUSPECT IN AN OLD UNSOLVED CASE IS RELEASED FROM PRISON.”
CBS also released a couple of preview photos for episode 9. Agents Bishop and Torres are spotted in one of the photos. So, expect to see them in a scene together. Agent McGee has a few, solo snap shots. Agent Sloane seems to have her hands full in a couple of the photos. Episode 9 will also feature a couple of guest stars. They are: James MacDonald as character (Navy Admiral Norton Padgett), Cassi Thomson as character (Angie Gray), Jeff Pierre as character (Lew Nolte), Miriam A. Hyman as character (Lanny Peete), Patrick W. Day as character (Phil Iverson) and Susan Angelo as character (Admiral’s Wife).
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 9 are: Mark Harmon as character (NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs), Sean Murray as character (NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee), Emily Wickersham as character (NCIS Special Agent Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop), Wilmer Valderrama as character (NCIS Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres), Maria Bello as character (NCIS Special Agent Jaqueline “Jack” Sloane), Brian Dietzen as character (Dr. Jimmy Palmer), Diona Reasonover as character (Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines), Rocky Carroll as character(NCIS Director Leon Vance) and David McCallum as character (Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard).
Episode 9 was written by George Schenck, and it was directed by Terrence O’Hara. Again, episode 9 is currently scheduled to air on Tuesday night, December 4, 2018 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on CBS. Stay tuned.
