New NCIS Season 16 Episode 21 Delayed. It’s Not Airing On April 23, 2019
Hey, NCIS fans. Once again, it is that time where we have to break the unfortunate news that your favorite show will be missing in action next week. Yep,it’s true, guys. It turns out that NCIS is going to have one last break this season before they finish out this season with their final four episodes.
That means that the next, new episode 21 will not be airing next Tuesday night, April 23, 2019. Instead,CBS will be airing it on Tuesday night, April 30, 2019. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show schedules. And again, this is the last break of the season. From April 30 until the end of May 2019, you guys will be getting all new NCIS episodes. So, smile for that I guess.
What will CBS be airing instead of NCIS next Tuesday night, April 23, 2019? According to the TV Guide listings, CBS will ,in fact, be airing NCIS. It just won’t be a new episode. It’ll be a lovely rerun or repeat.
They will be re-airing the episode entitled,”Boom.” It first aired back on October 9, 2018. CBS’ official description for reads like this, “One of the NCIS agents is starstruck after the team investigates an explosion outside the home of Navy Petty Officer First Class Todd Nicholas (Cameron Radice) and his wife, popular reality TV star Sheba Nicholas (Tara Holt). Also, Vance continues physical therapy for the injuries sustained when he was held hostage.”
If any of you guys missed that particular episode when it first aired, next Tuesday night could be your time to finally play catch up. For those of you who did see that episode when it originally aired and have no interest in watching it again, it’s highly advised that you make plans to do or watch something else that night.
Now that we’ve gotten all that bad news out of the way, it’s time to spill a little bit of good news. CBS did serve up an official press release for the next, new episode 21. It does contain some light spoiler teasers. So, let that be a warning. If you don’t want to see any spoiler teasers, it’s highly advised that you exit this article right now.
For those of you who don’t mind spoiler teasers, by all means please stick around. Alright, so with that said, CBS’ press release revealed that episode 21 will be called or titled, “Judge,Jury.” It sounds like episode 21 will feature some very interesting scenes as Kasie ends up solving a very old murder case that took place 30 freaking years ago! However, a loophole will get thrown into the mix which might allow the suspect to walk free.
Elsewhere, McGee will be quite busy, paying an elite technology company a visit in the iconic Silicon Valley area. While there, McGee is actually going to get offered a very high paying gig!
CBS’s official description tells us, “After entering cold case DNA into the system, Kasie solves a 30-year-old murder case, but a loophole in the legal system may set the suspect free. Also, McGee visits an elite technology company in Silicon Valley that is offering him a highly paid position.”
An alternate description reads like this, “Kasie solves a 30-year-old cold case with DNA processing, but a loophole in the legal system may set the NCIS suspect free.”
Episode 21 will surprisingly not feature any guest stars.The season regulars that will be featured in it are: Mark Harmon as character (NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs), Sean Murray as character (NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee), Emily Wickersham as character (NCIS Special Agent Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop), Wilmer Valderrama as character (NCIS Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres), Maria Bello as character (NCIS Special Agent Jaqueline “Jack” Sloane), Brian Dietzen as character (Dr. Jimmy Palmer), Diona Reasonover as character (Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines), Rocky Carroll as character (NCIS Director Leon Vance) and David McCallum as character (Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard).
Episode 21 was written by Christopher J. Waild, and it was directed by James Whitmore, Jr. Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that episode 21 is scheduled to air on Tuesday night, April 30, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
