New ‘The Chi’ Spoilers For Season 3, August 16, 2020 Episode 9 Revealed
Hey, “The Chi” fans. We are back on here for another spoiler party session. This time, we’re going to tell you a few things that are going to happen in next weeks brand new episode 9 of The Chi’s current season 3.
The terrific folks over at Showtime were nice enough to drop a few teaser descriptions for episode 9 in their episode 9 press release. So, that is what we’ll be going over in this spoiler session. Let’s get started.
First off, there is definitely an official title for this new episode 9. It’s called, “Lackin.'” It sounds like episode 9 will feature some pretty interesting, possible dramatic, intense and emotional scenes as Ronnie gets praise from the church. Emmett and Dom get ready for their grand opening. Kevin attempts to create some balance and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Ronnie situation. It turns out that Ronnie will have some very positive and negative feedback in this episode. At some point, Ronnie will get some high praise from his church community. However, there will be others that make sure he doesn’t forget about his awful past.
Showtime’s official description for this latest Ronnie storyline reads like this, “Ronnie is praised by his church community, while others won’t let him forget his mistakes.”
What does this all mean for Ronnie moving forward? That’s a big question for this particular storyline. We can tell you that Ronnie will find some absolution or relief from guilt in episode 10. So, we think Ronnie will be somewhat ok for the time being.
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Emmett and Dom will be up to some big, big things in this episode. At some point, we’re going to see these two start to get all prepped for their big grand opening event.
Showtime’s description for this Emmett and Dom plotline reads like this, “Emmett and Dom prepare for their grand opening.”
Will Emmett and Dom’s grand opening be a success? Will everything go off without a hitch? Those are some important questions for this ongoing plotline. Whatever the case, it sounds like we could get some possible, interesting scenes out of this storyline next week.
Some other things we’re hearing about Emmett is that he will take a step towards the future with Tiffin in episode 10. So, get ready to see that play out in two weeks.
The 3rd and last teaser description lets us now that Kevin will be putting in quite a bit of correctional work in this episode. We will see Kevin try to incorporate more of a balance between his obligations and his relationships.
Showtime’s description for this latest Kevin storyline tells us, “Kevin tries to balance his relationships with his obligations.”
Will Kevin create this more healthy balance he’s going for? That’s a big question for this ongoing, Kevin storyline. We can officially tell you that certain life events will cause Kevin to get a little more mature in episode 10. So, it sounds like Kevin will be moving in the right direction as this season 3 comes to a close.
Showtime’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of The Chi’s current season 3 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, August 16, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
