FBI International Season 1, May 24, 2022 Episode 21 Is The Finale. Season 2 Is Happening
Hey, “FBI: International” fans. We hope you totally enjoyed what episode 21 had to offer up tonight, especially since it was indeed the season 1 finale episode. That’s right, guys. That’s a wrap for this current, premiere season of FBI: International. That means you guys are going to have to wait a pretty good while to see more new episodes.
That brings us to the good news we have to tell you. We’ve just officially learned that you guys are going to see a ton of new episodes of FBI: International in the future because CBS decided to renew it for two more seasons! That’s right, guys. FBI: International will be back for a guaranteed season 2 and season 3!
Currently, we do not know exactly when the new season 2 will begin or how many episodes it will serve up. We’re going to have to wait for CBS reveal that very important info at a later date.
During the renewal announcement, the president for CBS Entertainment Kelly Kahl delivered some very positive statements for the FBI franchise stating, “The FBIs are one of the most successful brands in the entire TV landscape and a powerful cornerstone of our No. 1 lineup.
They’ve attracted a dedicated, loyal fan base, thanks to the extraordinary vision of executive producer Dick Wolf and the talents of all three outstanding casts and creative teams. I know we and our viewers look forward to two additional seasons of engaging, heroic stories.”
We also got to hear from the executive producer for the FBI: International series Dick Wolf. He described how elated everyone is over the multi-year renewal deal saying, “Everybody who works on these three shows is over the moon about the multi-year pickups.
We are all incredibly grateful to CBS and our partners at Universal Television and CBS Studios, and I personally would like to thank the incredible casts, talented writers and dedicated producers, not to mention three crews who never missed an airdate despite the difficulties of producing full seasons during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
FBI: International season 1 averaged 5.983 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.53 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 20, which aired last Tuesday night, May 17, 2022, drew in 5.962 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.54 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 6.427 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 5 with 5.422 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was episode 11 with a 0.60 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 5 with a 0.46 ratings score. Season 1 actually averaged 8.3 million viewers per episode, and a 0.80 ratings score if you factor in the numbers from the streaming platforms.
