Chicago Med Season 8 March 8, 2023 Episode 16 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Chicago Med” fans. Unfortunately, we have some not-so-great news to pitch at you in this article. It turns out that your favorite show Chicago Med is in delay mode again to the tune of about 2 weeks. That means NBC is not going to air the next, new episode 16 of Chicago Med’s current season 8 tonight, March 8, 2023.
According to NBC’s official episode 16 press release, NBC is currently planning to finally air the new episode 16 on Wednesday night, March 22, 2023 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to commit that very important date and time to memory.
We did take a look at what NBC will air instead of new Chicago Med episodes during this 2-week delay period. According to the TV guide listings, NBC has a couple of Chicago Med repeat episodes all lined up and ready to go. Tonight, they’re going to re-air the 5th episode of this season 8 titled, “YEP, THIS IS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN.”
NBC’s official description for this repeat episode 5 of Chicago Med season 8 reads like this, “The effects of the supply chain shortages continue to impact the E.D. when Vanessa’s drug dealer reappears. One of the victims of the recent train crash needs a transplant, forcing Crockett to improvise. Charles and Nellie help a patient with amnesia.”
Next Wednesday night, March 15, 2023, NBC is going to re-air the 6th episode of Chicago Med season 8 titled, “MAMA SAID THERE WOULD BE DAYS LIKE THIS.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Crockett adjusts to his newfound fame when he helps Will treat a local restaurant owner. Ethan, Charles and Goodwin aid a new mother worried about hurting her baby. Maggie and Vanessa clash with a patient eager to get back to work.”
If any of you guys missed those particular rerun episodes of Chicago Med the first time around, or if you wouldn’t mind watching it again, you might still want to tune into NBC tonight as you normally would during that time. If you have no desire to watch these repeat episodes of Chicago Med, you will definitely want to get some other things lined up for this 2-week delay period and check back on March 22, 2023.
Spoiler Warning: We did get a hold of a new, official teaser description for the next, new episode 16 of Chicago Med’s current season 8 from NBC’s official episode 16 press release. It revealed that this new episode 16 has officially been titled, “WHAT YOU SEE ISN’T ALWAYS WHAT YOU GET.”
NBC’s official description for episode 16 reads like this, “Will and Nellie struggle to diagnose a patient with a rare disorder. CFD and Med staff work to free a paranoid father trapped in the MRI suite. Kai gets an ego check.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of Chicago Med’s current season 8 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Wednesday night, March 22, 2023 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot.
