Chicago Med Season 6, January 20, 2021 Episode 4 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Chicago Med” fans. We ,unfortunately, have some more bad news for you guys today. It turns out that NBC is delaying your favorite drama series again tonight, January 20, 2021. That’s right, guys. The next, new episode 4 of Chicago Med’s current season 6 will not be airing tonight.

The good news is that this particular delay is just for tonight. NBC has confirmed that the new episode 4 is scheduled to air next Wednesday night,January 27, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to remember that very important date and time or write it down on something right now.

So, what could NBC possibly be airing instead of your favorite Chicago Med show tonight? Well, according to the TV Guide listings, the Presidential inauguration for Joe Biden is such a big deal right now that NBC is devoting their entire primetime line up to it after devoting 6 hours of coverage during the daytime! They’re not the only ones though. Every major network is doing it.

NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “The Inauguration of Joseph R. Biden Jr. Joseph Biden and Kamala Harris take the oaths of office to become the next president and vice president of the United States.”

In the 7:30 pm central standard time slot, NBC will air a special called, “Celebrating America.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Tom Hanks hosts a celebration of the beginning of a new national journey toward a united America; featuring remarks from Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and Kamala D. Harris, and performances by Demi Lovato, Justin Timberlake, Ant Clemons and Jon Bon Jovi.”

If any of you guys are up for watching any of these Presidential inauguration specials, you might still want to flip on NBC ,tonight, like you normally would during that particular time.

On the other hand, if you do not want to see these Presidential inauguration specials, we’re quite sure that you will certainly want to find something else to watch or do as quickly as you can.

With that said, we do have some new info for the next, new episode 4 of Chicago Med’s current season 6. NBC served up and official press release for it. So, we’re going to run that by you right now.

If you love reading spoilers, we definitely think you should stick around. So, let’s do this. First off, the new episode 4 has been revealed to be titled, “IN SEARCH OF FORGIVENESS, NOT PERMISSION.”

It sounds like episode 4 will feature some very intense, dramatic and possible emotional scenes.

In the new episode 4, Dr. Marcel and Dr. Manning will have really big parts to play in this episode as they will do everything in their power to make sure an ill woman is given the help she needs.

Dr. Halstead will be having a really hard time in this episode. Apparently, he wants to do a clinical trial, but he can’t seem to get people to participate in it.

Elsewhere, Dr. Choi will run into major issues with a male patient that is demanding absolute and total perfection for himself.

NBC’s official description for episode 4 reads like this, “Dr. Marcel and Dr. Manning lay everything on the line to assist a sick woman. Dr. Halstead faces an uphill battle in getting participants involved in his clinical trial. Dr. Choi clashes with a patient who demands absolute perfection of himself.”

Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 4 of Chicago Med’s current season 6 is scheduled to air next Wednesday night, January 27,2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
