Alaska Daily Season 1, March 30, 2023 Episode 11 Is The Finale. Season 2 Not Yet Confirmed
Hey, “Alaska Daily” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed tonight’s episode 11 of Alaska Daily’s current, premiere season 1, especially since it was indeed the season 1 finale episode. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s episode 11 was indeed the final one for this season 1 and possibly forever because, right now, we don’t actually have a decision from ABC for a season 2 renewal of the show.
Yep, unfortunately, we can’t tell you guys, tonight, if you’re going to get anymore new episodes of Alaska Daily in the future. We’re still in the process of waiting for an official announcement from ABC. What we can do in the meantime is try and see if we can form some sort of educated guess for the future of Alaska Daily based off the numbers it put for ABC during its first season run. So, let’s just go ahead and do that.
We’ve got the official Neilson ratings pulled up, and they’re telling us that Alaska Daily season 1 averaged 2.853 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.23 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 10, which aired last Thursday night, March 23, 2023, managed to draw in 2.789 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.21 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 3.587 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was the 8th episode with 2.496 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.32 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 5 with a 0.17 ratings score. Judging from those numbers, it could definitely go either way. We can see why ABC is taking their sweet precious time making a decision because the numbers weren’t spectacular, and they weren’t totally awful either. I’ve seen shows with worse numbers get renewed on ABC.
It’ll come down to how much ABC has to actually pay for this Alaska Daily show and whether or not they have any new shows they think can do better in that time slot. With that said, it’s probably going to be pretty close. It’s definitely on the bubble I would say. Cross your fingers.
