Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars August 16, 2023 Winner Revealed In Finale (Recap)
Hey, “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars” fans. Tonight, August 16, 2023, another new episode of Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars’ current, premiere season 1 did indeed hit the air. Since this one was the finale episode, we finally found out who won this thing at the end of it.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the final three contestants: Caroline D’Amore, Chris Kanik and Lan Ho learning that this final challenge from Gordon would require them to host their own event to showcase their products. Gordon told Chris that he would work on a new marketing campaign to make his smart cups more understandable to the public.
Gordon told Lan that she would work to get her coffee packaged in a ready-to-drink form. Gordon told Caroline that she would work on a frozen pizza line to showcase her sauce. All the finalists got an empty retail space and were given 24 hours to get it ready for a public presentation.
Each of the finalists got help from a returning contestant to help pull this off. Megan Meza returned to help out Lan. Aaron Valentine returned to help out Chris. Sydney Webb returned to help out Caroline.
The finalists were each given an interior designer to help bring their showcase to life. They were also given some branding agents to help them make their message to customers easier to understand. They helped Chris by giving him the slogan: “Just Add Water” for his Smart Cups, and he loved it.
They helped Lan put her coffee in a shelf stable version to be ready to drink. “Fat Milk In A Bottle” is what they called it. They helped Caroline by making sure her sauce really stood out, putting it on top of the pizza first. Caroline really loved it.
Next, the finalists were shown their final pop-up stands. They were blown away by how nice they looked. Gordon told Chris to start off with the energy drink because it’s the most tangible. Gordon tasted Caroline’s frozen pizza, and he said it was really good.
At one point, the finalists got a visit from some of their family members. Caroline cried when her daughter showed up. We were shown footage of people/potential customers showing up at each of the finalists’ booths to try out their products. Chris pointed out that his cups are made out of plant material, so they’re better for the environment. All the presentations seemed to go really well. Lots of people wanted a second helping of Lan’s Coffee in a bottle.
Gordon brought on some undercover industry experts to view the finalists’ products. Caroline also presented some pasta along with her frozen pizza to display her sauce. The finalists made a big speech about what their products represent. Gordon was seen asking various people if they would buy the products and so on and so forth.
Gordon got feedback from his industry experts. They said Lans coffee would really be outstanding as a ready-to-drink product. They said the tech behind Chris’ smart cups is incredible and a terrific opportunity. However, the biggest problem is changing consumer behavior to actually add water. “It’s a speed bump,” they said. They said, “Caroline’s sauce tasted great, but her marketing message is a little confusing. If she tweaked it a bit, it could work.”
Next, Gordon was seen meeting up with all three of the finalists ,individually, to talk about how their showcase turned out and make their pitch to why he should invest in their products.
Caroline told Gordon, “My brand is already tried and tested.” Chris said, “My product is capable of making any kind of product. Not just one.” Lan said, “I have the heart and determination to make this happen.”
Finally, in the end, Gordon told the finalists: “I’ll be investing in Chris. Your product could quite honestly change the world. I wanna be part of that journey with you right by your side.
