For starters, NBC let us know that tonight’s new, December 8, 2023 episode 19 of Dateline NBC season 32 is officially labeled/titled, “The Last Weekend.”
In tonight’s new, December 8, 2023 episode 19, the Dateline NBC team will take a deep look at a story about a 53 year old Colorado man named Scott Sessions. He was a trumpet player, and he failed to show up at one of his scheduled jobs.
This sparked an investigation, which eventually led to Scott’s body being discovered abandoned somewhere in the remote Colorado Rockies area. Eventually, the investigation was narrowed down to two suspects. However, a second murder happened, which came as a major surprise to the police that worked this case. Canadian broadcast journalist Keith Morrison handled the reporting duties for this episode and case.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, December 8, 2023 episode 19 of Dateline NBC season 32 reads like this, “After trumpet player Scott Sessions fails to show up for a scheduled gig, his family learns his body was abandoned in the remote Colorado Rockies. As the investigation narrows in on two suspects, a second murder catches police by surprise.”

Again, tonight’s new episode will just be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 10 pm central standard time.
