The Bachelor February 13, 2024 Eliminated Edwina, Allison, Madina, Autumn (Recap)
Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, February 13, 2024, another new episode of The Bachelor 2024 edition with headliner Joey Graziadei did indeed hit the air, and we saw another couple of women get eliminated before it ended. Tonight’s new episode picked up right where last night’s episode left off with the drama that took place with Maria getting upset that Madina was catching heat from the other women for being nice to Maria.
Madina went to comfort Maria, telling her, “I don’t want you to feel bad,” and they hugged. Meanwhile, Lea tried to bad mouth Maria to Joey. She told the private cams, “I hope Maria leaves. Please just go home.”
At the rose ceremony, Kelsey A, Katlyn, Daisy, Rachel, Jenn, Autumn, Jess, Madina and Lea all got roses. Edwina and Allison did not get a rose. So, they were unfortunately eliminated at this point.
Next, Joey told the remaining women that they are leaving Malta and going to Andalusia, Spain, and they toasted to that. When they got to Spain, Joey revealed to the ladies that he’s taking Kelsey A on a 1 on 1 date. During it, Joey took her to get something to eat.
They also played some soccer in the streets. They went somewhere and talked. Kelsey A told Joey things are going well with them. Joey told her, “I think our relationship will continue to grow, and that’s exciting,” and they kissed.
During the second half of their date, Kesley A talked with Joey about her parents and upbringing. She told him her mom got diagnosed with breast cancer, and she was given only 6 months to live, and she eventually passed away. She went on to say, “It’s hard for me to think about my mom not being there for my wedding.”
Joey said some comforting words to her and gave her a hugged. Joey said, “Thanks so much for sharing. I appreciate it fully. Your mom would be so proud of you. I feel so excited about our potential future.” Then, he gave her a rose, and they kissed.
Next, Joey took: Lexi, Daisy, Jenn, Autumn, Maria, Katelyn, Madina, Lea, Jess, and Kelsey T out on a group date. During it, they did a painting artwork challenge. They had to paint something they felt about Joey and how they feel about their relationship with him. Jess ended up winning this challenge. Her prize was more alone time with Joey.
At the afterparty, Joey talked with Jenn. He told her he really liked her painting. He told the private cams, “Me and Jenn make a lot of sense together. I can definitely see a future with her.” Joey talked with Kelsey T. She told him she’s starting to catch feelings for him, and it’s strong. Then, they kissed. Joey was seen kissing Lexi. Joey talked with Maria. She told him, “You looked good today.”
Joey told Maria, “I loved your painting. It was real and described where we are at,” and they kissed. Maria also talked about her upbringing and told him a horrific story about her mother getting crushed by a cement truck when she was just a toddler. So, her mom wasn’t able to be around for her much during her childhood.
She said she always tries to see the positive side of things and doesn’t dwell on silly little fights. Joey told the private cams that he liked what she had to say. Joey told Maria that as well, and they kissed again. Mariah told the private cams, “Joey made me feel so comfortable. It was amazing.” Joey gave Maria the group date rose.
After all of that, we got footage of Rachel and Joey’s 1 on 1 date outing. During it, Joey took her to a Flamenco dance show, and she got to try it. They also asked her and Joey to join in one of the Flamenco shows.
During the second half of their date, they talked some more. She talked about her nursing career and how much time it takes up. Joey told the private cams, “I need to be aware of how demanding her job will be and be respectful of that.” Joey gave Rachel a rose, and they kissed. Rachel told the private cams, “I am definitely falling for Joey.” Joey told the private cams, “Rachel was amazing today. I’m eager to learn more.”
During the cocktail party, Joey talked with Daisy, and they ended up kissing. Joey told the private cams, “Daisy is someone I could truly fall in love with.”
Joey talked with Autumn. Joey talked with Katelyn. Maria interrupted Katelyn and Joey at one point, and Katelyn told the other women about it. Jess got really upset about it saying, “I don’t understand what Joey sees in Maria.”
Then, Jess and Maria ended up getting into a very heated argument about it when Jess confronted her, and it ended with Jess storming off in tears, calling Maria a b^%tch.
After all that drama, another rose ceremony took place. During it, Joey gave: Jenn, Kelsey T, Daisy, Lea, Lexi, Katelyn and Jess a rose to join Maria, Kelsy A and Rachel who received roses earlier in this episode. Unfortunately, that meant poor Madina and Autumn did not get a rose and were eliminated. To wrap up this episode, Joey told the remaining women that they’re going to Montreal, Canada.
