New Chicago Med Season 9 March 6 & 13, 2024 Episode 7 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Chicago Med” fans. Unfortunately, we’re on here with some really bad news for you guys. It turns out that for some unknown reason, the NBC people don’t have any plans to deliver the next, new episode 7 of Chicago Med’s current season 9 tonight, March 6, 2024 and next Wednesday night, March 13, 2024.
That’s right, guys. According to NBC’s official episode 7 press release, NBC doesn’t plan to air the new episode 7 until Wednesday night, March 20, 2024 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly try to remember that very important date and time if you can.
In the meantime, we did take a look at what NBC is serving up on Chicago Med’s empty time slot tonight and next Wednesday night. According to the TV guide listings, NBC is going to serve up some repeat episodes of Chicago Med. Tonight, they’re re-airing episode 2 of this season 9 titled, “This Town Ain’t Big Enough for Both of Us.”
NBC’s official description for this repeat episode 2 of Chicago Med season 9 reads like this, “A woman from Archer’s past returns and threatens his transplant surgery. Marcel clashes with Med’s eager first-year resident. Charles works to repair his relationship with Ripley.”
Next Wednesday night, March 13, 2024, NBC is going to re-air the 3rd episode of this season 9 titled, “What Happens in the Dark Always Comes to Light.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Frustrated with an insurance company, Ahmad takes matters into her own hands, jeopardizing Med’s negotiations and Marcel’s first day on the board. Charles helps a woman’s depressed husband. Asher’s first date takes a surprising turn.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed those repeat episodes the first time they aired, you might still want to flip on NBC tonight and next Wednesday night to catch them. If you did see these repeat episodes during their original airing and have no desire to watch them again, you will certainly want to make other plans for this two-week delay.
Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we did track down an official teaser description for the next, new episode 7 of Chicago Med’s current season 9 via NBC’s official episode 9 press release. It revealed that episode 7 is officially titled, “STEP ON A CRACK AND BREAK YOUR MOTHER’S BACK.”
NBC’s official description for episode 7 reads like this, “Ripley and Charles treat a patient with OCD. Hannah and Archer encounter a woman with a foreign object lodged in her heart. Crockett clashes with the Chief of Oncology.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 7 of Chicago Med’s current season 9 is scheduled to finally show up on Wednesday night, March 20, 2024 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot.
