Survivor November 27 Voted Off Kyle Ostwald (Recap)
Hey, “Survivor” fans. Tonight, November 27, 2024, another new episode of Survivor’s current season 47 did indeed hit the air tonight, and another unlucky contestant did get voted out at the end. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with talk about the last tribal council meeting, which sent Gabe packing and sent to the jury.
Kyle told the private cams, “I don’t trust anybody.” Sue told the private cams, “They really blindsided Gabe, and it really sucks. Everybody knew but me, and it sucks. I can’t even trust Caroline anymore. I’m all alone now. Gabe was my number one.”
Caroline told the private cams, “Blindsiding sue was a huge mistake, but I knew this was the game I needed to play. So, I need to do some damage control.” Caroline told Sue, “I still want to go to final two with you.” Sue told the private cams, “I feel good with Caroline. That’s all I needed from her.” Sue and Caroline hugged and made up.
After all of that, Rachel went on a boat journey. During it, she was given a puzzle challenge. If she successfully completed it in a certain amount of time, she won an advantage. If she lost, she lost her vote at the next tribal council. She did end up winning it. Her advantage was the ability to secretly block someone’s vote at tribal council, and this can be done until there are six players left.
Rachel lied to the some of the others about winning the advantage. Sam told the private cams that he didn’t believe Rachel. Rachel did tell Caroline and Sue that she won the advantage. Caroline told the private cams, “I want Rachel to have an advantage because it makes her a shield for me.”
Andy told the private cams that Genevieve is a snake in the grass, and he thinks he can get her out of this game. After all of that, host Jeff Probst showed up with a new immunity challenge. During it, they had to build a stack of tiles while balancing them on a wobbly table until they stacked 8 blocks of them to spell the word “immunity” for the win. If they dropped puzzle pieces, they had to start all over. Rachel won it.
Teeny told the private cams that she wanted to get Kyle out. Rachel told the private cams she wants to get Sam out. Sue told the private cams that she wants Sam out and is drooling to get him out. Andy told the private cams he wanted to get Genevieve out. So, he started campaigning for her to go instead of Kyle. Teeny told the private cams she’s not totally ruling out voting off Genevieve.
At the tribal council meeting, everyone did some general game talk before casting their votes. Then, it was revealed that Genevieve got 1 vote. Teeny got 1 vote, and Kyle received 4 votes. So, with the 4 votes, Kyle did get voted off. Kyle said, “Thank you so much for this experience and friendship. Good game you guys” on the way out.
Kyle told the private cams, “It stings a little bit, but I’m pretty proud of myself. I gave it my all, and I’m proud of that.”
