The Voice Alexia Jayy Won Season 29 In Finale Episode (Recap)

Earlier tonight, April 14, 2026, NBC aired the finale episode of The Voice’s current season 29, and we finally found out who won this season at the end of it.

All the celebrity coaches/judges: Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine and John Legend were on hand to watch the top 4 finalists compete for the last time this season. The top 4 finalists were: Team Adam’s Alexia Jayy. Team John Legend’s Lucas West. Team Kelly’s Liv Ciara and Mikenley Brown.

The final four performed a ballad and an uptempo song to complete their finals performances. Up first, was Team Adam’s Alexia Jayy. She sang her uptempo song, “Lady Marmalade” by LaBelle. Afterwards, Adam said, “She tackled a Whitney song. She tackled Aretha. Patti LaBelle just now. Through all these mega, mega people, the headline through all of it was you.”

Team Mikenley Brown sang her ballad song, “Almost Is Never Enough” by Ariana Grande. Afterwards, Kelly said, “You do these riffs that are incredible that I tell you I’m like sitting in my shower, and I try to do and can’t.”

Team John Legend’s Lucas West sang his uptempo song, “Cold as Ice” by Foreigner. Afterwards, John said, “Your voice sounded more powerful, more clear and beautiful than ever. Wonderfully done.”

Team Kelly’s Liv Ciara sang her ballad song, “The Greatest” by Billie Eilish. Afterwards, Kelly said, “When we were all 16, I don’t know that we were here. I was not. You have such a vision for yourself. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do after this show. You’re really great.”

Team Kelly’s Mikenley Brown sang her uptempo song, “Man I Need” by Olivia Dean. Afterwards, Kelly said, “You’re just so rad. If people just tuned in tonight, they have a great grasp of who you are as an artist and what they can expect, and what they can adore about you.”

Team John Legend’s Lucas West sang his ballad song, “Ordinary People” by John Legend. Afterwards, John said, “I was just so happy watching you do this today. As artists, it’s cool for us. I felt something today.”

Team Kelly’s Liv Ciara sang her uptempo song, “What a Girl Wants” by Christina Aguilera. Afterwards, Kelly said, “You’re ready to be a pop star. You dance, you sing, you write, you have a range. You’re just ready to go, and I can’t wait to see what happens after the show.”

Team Adam’s Alexia Jayy sang her ballad song, “One and Only” by Adele. Afterwards, Adam said, “You are important. You make people reflect on their own life. When you tap into that, you make the world feel a little bit more together and communal.

That’s really, really, really special. I’ve never experienced the feeling that we all just had together. Thank you for being the messenger. You’re unbelievable.”

After all of that, all the finalists performed a duet with their coach. Kelly sang “Stay” by Rihanna and Mykki Ekko with Liv. She sang “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish with Mikenley.

Adam and Alexia sang “Sunday Morning” by Maroon 5. John and Lucas performed “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” by Elton John.

After the special performances, host Carson Daly revealed that Mikenley Brown landed in fourth place. Lucas West came in third place. Liv was the runner up, which means Team Adam’s Alexia Jayy won it all. She is the Voice season 29 grand prize winner! So, congrats to her. Adam won the Battle Of Champions since his contestant won.
