Big Brother August 13 Evicted Chuck Anyanwu In LIVE Eviction Episode (Recap)

Earlier tonight, August 13, 2026, CBS aired another new LIVE eviction episode for Big Brother’s current season 28, and another unlucky houseguest did get voted off and evicted by the time it was over.

Tonight’s new episode kicked off with footage of what took place in the house after the last POV (Power Of Veto) ceremony event, which featured current POV winner Kamu not using his veto to save anyone from eviction and keeping current HOH (Head Of Household) La La aka La Trice’s original nominees Haley, Chuk and Barrett on the block.

Kamu told the Diary room aka private cams, “The house clearly has a target. I don’t wanna rock the boat.” Chuk told the private cams, “My loyalty to Kamu is officially gone.”

Haley told the private cams, “Kamu not using the veto on me or Chuk really sucks. Now, I just gotta direct this frustration into winning the BB Blockbuster competition.”

Barrett told the private cams, “I feel good about going up on the block against Haley and Chuk. I just gotta stay chill.” Taylor told the private cams, “Haley is sucking the life out of everyone. She has to go this week.”

Devens told the private cams, “Is Haley really bad for my game? I’m not sure it’s best for me to vote her out.” Mallory told the private cams, “I want Haley to stay more than Chuck. I feel like Haley has other targets than me. I feel like Chuk could put me on the block.”

Devens told the private cams, “I have a good relationship with Haley more than Chuk. So, I would be more inclined to keep her.” Barrett told the private cams, “I would actually love for Haley to stay. She has more enemies than me.”

Barrett ratted out to Dee, Devens and Angela that La Trace was talking about trying to get rid of them in the future. They obviously didn’t like that. Dee told the private cams, “Ok, we can keep Haley in the game to go after you, La La.”

After all of that, Barrett, Haley and Chuck competed in the BB Blockbuster competition for one last chance at safety. The comp was titled, “Newton’s Apple.” It was a physical competition that involved them rolling balls up a ramp and knocking them back down off the ramp. Haley won it to claim safety. So, Barrett and Chuk had a few minutes to do some last minute campaigning before giving their final plea speeches.

Then, the rest of the houseguests minus HOH La Trice cast their votes to evict. Haley voted to evict Barrett. Melody, Angela, Kamu, Dee, Yash, Devens, Drew, Taylor and Mallory all voted to evict Chuk. So, by a landslide vote of 9-1, Chuk was evicted from the Big Brother house tonight.

Chuck gave his exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. Chuck told Julie, “I’m completely shocked because I was in such a strong alliance, and all it took was for the power to switch hands one time to get me out. I still think La Trice is playing the game confused. Her still sitting in there hurts my soul. I don’t buy La Trice’s #confused game play tactic.

My plan was to keep quiet until I got deeper in the game and then start playing my own game. If I had stayed, I would’ve targeted La Trice and Taylor. Haley was my closest ally in there.
