Big Brother August 16 New POV, Power Of Veto Winner Revealed & More (Spoilers)

Yesterday evening, August 15, 2026, the latest POV (Power Of Veto) competition took place for Big Brother’s current season 28, and we’re back on here to give you the results of it.

As we previously reported, Yash became the new HOH (Head Of Household) to start off this week. Then, he nominated, Haley, Dee, and Angela for eviction this past Friday, August 14, 2026. Then, at yesterday’s POV competition, Yash and his three eviction nominees: Angela, Dee, and Haley played for veto by default. Melody and Barrett played for it via random vote.

After it was all played and done, it was Yash who emerged as the winner! So, Yash is this week’s veto winner. He appears to be on a bit of a roll with the competition wins right now, and has been able to claim all the power this week.

It’s also noted that this veto comp was the classic OTEV competition where they race down a mountain to get answers to a clue and bring them back up the mountain. It’s very physical.

There is another very strong power in the house this week that needs to be talked about because there’s plans for it to be used. Devens has the Diamond Power Of Veto from when he won the special time capsule competition.

On the LIVE feeds, he was seen, telling Dee that he actually plans to use it to save her from eviction. Then, throw Kamu on the block as a replacement nominee! There was some talk about Yash possibly using his veto to take someone off the block and nominate Devens as a replacement nominee, but Yash ultimately said it would be safer to just keep things the same for now.

So, judging from those LIVE feed conversations, it appears that it’s highly likely Devens will use his Diamond Power Of Veto at the POV ceremony, which is scheduled to happen sometime tomorrow, August 17, 2026.

Whatever the case, there’s a lot that could certainly change things around at the POV Ceremony. We will definitely be back on here to give you the results of it when they become available.
