Columbia Pictures Is Working On A ‘Bad Boys’ 3 Movie
Columbia Pictures are currently in the process of developing a “Bad Boys” 3 movie,according to Hollywood Reporter. Peter Craig is reportedly writing the screenplay for it.
The original two films to proceed the third, starred action star, Will Smith and comedian, Martin Lawrence. Columbia Pictures is hoping that they can reunite director, Michael Bay,producer Jerry Bruckheimer,and the two stars for the third installment.
No deal has been made as of yet. However, they have all expressed an interest in doing it, if a good story can be created. Another hurdle for this to occur, would be the cost to hire them since they are all really huge, right now.
In the “Bad Boys” films, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence played two Miami detectives named Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett who get caught up in cases that involve a lot of car chasing and huge explosions.
The original movie which was released in 1995, grossed about $141 million worldwide. “Bad Boys” 2,released in 2003, grossed about $273 million worldwide.
I hope this deal works out. I like the “Bad Boys” films.
