Gary Ross To Write New ‘Venom’ Movie
According to Variety , Gary Ross is set to write the new “Venom” movie,which is a spinoff from the Spider-Man 3 movie. Gary Ross is also currently rewriting “Spider-Man” 4 for Columbia Pictures. The Venom character is an archenemy of Spider-Man in the comic books,but gets transformed into an antihero who becomes a defender of the innocent.
Topher Grace who played Venom in “Spider-Man” 3 is reportedly not going to be reprising the role of Venom in the spinoff,since they are going to be starting from scratch with it. Also Topher Grace has signed on to star in “Robert Rodriguez’s Predators” at FOX.
Marvel Entertainment,Avi Arad,and Gary Ross will be producing the “Venom” spinoff movie.
