‘Valentine’s Day’ Movie Delivered Huge Stars & Funny Scenes
‘Valentine’s Day’ movie delivered huge stars & funny scenes. New Line Cinema’s new comedy flick, “Valentine’s Day” made its way into theaters this weekend just in time for well, Valentine’s Day. I do think the critics were right about the story line being a little all over the place, but it did deliver a lot of funny scenes, and it evidently had a lot of big name stars in it,which included: Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Hector Elizondo, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Shirley MacLaine, Emma Roberts, Julia Roberts, and Taylor Swift.
“Valentine’s Day” revolved around multiple characters with romantic Valentine’s Day dilemmas. One couple, Reed (Ashton Kutcher) and Morely (Jessica Alba) were engaged to be married, but Morely ended up breaking it off because she was more into her career. A kid had a romantic crush on his teacher. Willy (Taylor Lautner) and Felicia (Taylor Swift) were the silly, funny-in-love couple who really brought some comic relief.
Jessica Biel played the chick that couldn’t get a date (like that’s believable). Jennifer Garner played a woman who was unknowingly in love with a married man (Patrick Dempsey). Topher Grace played a guy named Jason who was in love with Liz (Anne Hathaway) who’s secretly a phone sex operator. She played some very funny characters on the phone. Two other teenagers wanted to have sex when the parents were away, and it ended up with the guy getting caught naked while playing a guitar. It was very funny. The basic storyline, was that all these people had some type of issue going on during Valentine’s Day, but were able to somehow magically work through it and come up with a somewhat happy ending.
Overall, I thought the storyline was really all over the place. They had like 5 or 6 movies going on in one film. However, it was funny and entertaining at times. It was more like a romantic/comedy soap opera. It wasn’t boring and was certainly watchable.
