New Killing Them Softly movie delivered wicked violence,tons of dialogue & more. The Weinstein Company released their new comedy/crime flick “Killing Them Softly” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it and thought it was just about ok and sorta funny at times. It delivered a lot of dialogue scenes that were mostly interesting,but at times,could send me right to sleep. The movie stars: Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Sam Rockwell, Richard Jenkins, Bella Heathcote, Vincent Curatola, Ray Liotta, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, and Linara Washington.

In the new flick, Two crazy guys named Frankie and Russell think they’re smart, and rob a mob protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse. Then mafia hit man ,Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt), is hired to track them down and restore order. Jackie eventually meets up with a guy named Driver.

From there, Jackie goes on a killing spree to kill the people who were responsible for the robbery. During Jackie’s mission,he confronts one of the robbers,Frankie, at a local tavern,and gets him to reveal Russell and Johnny’s location. Russell’s hit eventually gets called off due to him getting busted on drug possession charges. Read more »

New ‘Flight’ movie delivered great drama,storyline & more with Denzel Washington. Paramount Pictures released their new drama flick “Flight” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was just great,especially for a drama movie. The storyline was just very compelling and interesting the entire time. It stars: Denzel Washington, Kelly Reilly, Don Cheadle, Bruce Greenwood, Brian Geraghty, John Goodman,and Tamara Tunie.

In the new flick, character Whip Whitaker (Denzel Washington) is a pilot who has a major drinking problem,and showed up to pilot a plane while drunk,but snorted a bit of cocaine to get him back alert for the flight. He also drunk a couple of small alcoholic beverages during the flight,but everything seemed to go well until about midway through when the plane took a sudden nose dive. New ‘Man With The Iron Fist’ movie delivered great action,drama & more. Universal Pictures released their new action flick “Man With The Iron Fists” in to theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was excellent as it served up a ton of great fighting action,major drama,and more. It stars: Russell Crowe, RZA, Lucy Liu, Rick Yune, Jamie Chung, Cung Le, Dave Bautista, Byron Mann, Daniel Wu,and Pam Grier.

In the new flick, the town’s blacksmith (RZA) has been forced by radical tribal factions to create elaborate tools of destruction. Eventually, the Lion clan attacks character Zen Yi,The X-Blade with a seemingly unstoppable foe Brass Body( Dave Bautista). The blacksmith saves Zen just before Bras Body was able to kill Zen.

From there, the Lion clan kidnapped the blacksmith ,and tried to force him to give up Zen Yi’s whereabouts. When he refused,they chopped off the his arms. However,he’s rescued from death by character Jack Knife (Russell Crowe). Read more »

New ‘Alex Cross’ movie delivered great action,drama,suspense & more. Summit Entertainment released their new action/thriller flick “Alex Cross” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was excellent. The storyline kept me heavily intrigued,and the action was awesome and intense. The movie stars: Tyler Perry, Matthew Fox, Edward Burns, Rachel Nichols,and Jean Reno.

In the new flick, a serial killer named Picasso (Matthew Fox),shows up on the scene with a few gruesome murders. Alex Cross (Tyler Perry) and his partner Tommy Kane get called on to the case to investigate it. Eventually, there investigation leads them to Erich Mielke’s office building after finding out he’s Picasso’s next target. This outing leads to a big shootout confrontation between Picasso,Alex, and Tommy. Unfortunately,Picasso is able to escape this confrontation.

From there, Picasso seeks revenge on both Tommy and Alex by killing their significant others. This of course,causes Alex and Tommy to get down and dirty,seeking out Picasso by any means necessary even if it meant breaking the law. Read more »

New ‘Sinister’ movie delivered lots of very weird thrills,suspense & more. Summit Entertainment released their new horror/thriller flick “Sinister” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was just ok,and that was strictly because things picked up towards the end. It moved along quite slow at first,but finally served up some pretty thrilling moments. It stars: Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, James Ransone, Fred Dalton Thompson, Nicholas King, Clare Foley, Victoria Leigh, Juliet Rylance, and Michael Hall D’Addario.

In the new flick, Ellison Oswalt (Ethan Hawke) and his family ,move into a house,where a brutal hanging of a couple of kids took place right in the back yard. Ellison started investigating the mystery hanging for his new mystery book,and to hopefully solve the missing details of the case.

As he got deeper into the details of the case,mysterious, paranormal,type things started happening in the house, upsetting his kids and wife. To make a long,drawn-out,story short,things eventually got so bad that Ellison decided to get the hell out of dodge, immediately. Read more »

New ‘Seven Psychopaths’ movie delivered lots of violence,drama & more. CBS Films released their new comedy/action flick “Seven Psychopaths” into theaters this weekend. I just watch it,and thought it was pretty bad. I fell asleep numerous as it pretty much dragged along. It did have its high points,but for the most part, I was utterly and completely bored by them film. It stars: Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Abbie Cornish, Tom Waits, Olga Kurylenko,and Zeljko Ivanek.

In the flick, a psychopath named Charlie (Woody Harrelson) lost his dog Bonnie to character Billy,and from the little bit that I was a able to follow in this film, Charlie was very violent,and killed anyone who he suspected had anything to do with his missing dog,or anyone who stood in the way of finding his missing dog.

The movie also had a couple of other subplots going on,which made it very tedious to follow. One of the subplots was that two other killers would go around killing people who were also killers. Meanwhile, in the main plot, Charlie and his men hunted down and killed everyone who had a connection to his stolen dog until he found the dog. Read more »

New ‘Taken 2’ movie delivered great nonstop action,suspense,nice plot & more. 20th Century Fox released their new action/thriller flick “Taken 2” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was a fantastic watch. It moved at a high pace shortly after the jump,and never quit from there. The plotline was also better than I thought it would be,and made lots of sense. It stars: Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, Rade Sherbedgia,and Luke Grimes.

In the new flick, character Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) ends up taking his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) and her mother Lenore to Istanbul for a getaway trip after Lenore’s boyfriend canceled their trip to China.

Once Bryan and the gang arrive in Istanbul,everything seems to be going great. However, things will soon turn sour as Murad Hoxha,who is the father of the man responsible for Kim’s kidnapping in the first film,is plotting revenge against Bryan. Read more »

I just checked it out,and I thought it was an excellent “feel good” movie with plenty of great comedy,drama,and more. It stars: Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Rebel Wilson, Alexis Knapp, Adam DeVine,and Freddie Stroma.

In the new flick, character Beca (Anna Kendrick of Twilight Saga movies) is forced to go to a college in Carolina by her father in stead of pursuing her true dreams of moving to Los Angeles,California and producing music. Once there, she goes against everything she thought was cool ,and joins the Bellas acapella singing group after her father promises to fund her true dreams if she gives the whole college thing a real shot for a year.

I just watched it,and thought it was an excellent flick. I never got bored,because the storyline was super intriguing,and it also served up a ton of action,drama,and more. The movie stars: Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Piper Perabo,and Jeff Daniels.

In the new flick, time travel will be invented,but it’s illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they send their target 30 years into the past, where a character called a “looper” is waiting and assigned to kill the target on-spot as soon as they arrive. When the target arrives,they’re bound,gagged,and masked just waiting to be shot by the looper. Read more »

Relativity Media released their new horror/thriller flick “House At The End Of The Street” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was great. It delivered a ton of thrills,crazy suspense,and a wicked twist. It stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Elisabeth Shue, Max Thieriot,and Gil Bellows.

In the new flick, character Elissa (Jennifer Lawrence) and her mother Sarah (Elisabeth Shue) move into a house that’s located right next door to a house where a girl named Carrie Anne supposedly killed her parents in cold blood after having a crazy,psychotic episode.

In present day, Carrie Anne’s brother Ryan (Max Thieriot) is living in the house,and has the whole town buzzing about how weird it is that he lives their,considering what happened.
