New ‘The Campaign’ Movie Delivered Lots Of Hilarious Comedy,Laughs & More
New ‘The Campaign’ movie delivered lots of hilarious comedy, laughs & more. Warner Bros. Pictures released their new, very funny comedy flick “The Campaign” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was hysterical as it served up a ton of crazy laughs, and more. The movie stars: Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Jason Sudeikis, Katherine LaNasa, Dylan McDermott, John Lithgow, Dan Aykroyd, Brian Cox,and P.J. Byrne.
In the new film, character long-term congressman Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) is running to keep is position in the North Carolina district and appears to be a shoe-in to win the election. However, a pair of ultra-wealthy CEOs named the Motch Brother, plot to put up a very unlikely, rival candidate to gain influence over the district.
Naïve character Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis) really wants to run,so they use him to run against Cam. At first, he looks really bad,and has been made a joke of the town by Cam. Eventually, the Motch Brothers hire Tim Wattley (Dylan McDermott) to be Marty’s campaign manager and make him look good.
From there, Tim and his crew redo Marty’s whole look and image right down to the dogs he owns. He also trains him to fire off good comebacks at the debates, and Marty eventually becomes a serious contender in the race for Congress.
Marty continues to pull off a couple media stunts to make Cam look really bad,and jumps 12 points ahead of Cam in the poles with just a few weeks left to go. However, Marty loses his support from the Motch Brothers when he refuses to go along with their plans to let their Chinese business partners come in, and turn the town into a large series of factories.
At this point, the Botch Brothers put their support behind Cam so he can eventually jump ahead of Marty and win the election. This set up a huge conclusion, where Cam does something really shocking, causing Marty to pull out the victory instead.
Again, the movie was very funny, delivering one crazy laugh after another as both the candidates kept taking shots at each and so forth. Both Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis did an excellent job with their characters. Everyone was really funny, actually. I gave the movie an excellent A grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here.
