New ‘Cold Light Of Day’ Movie Delivered Lots Of Action,Drama & More
New ‘Cold Light Of Day’ movie delivered lots of action, drama & more. Summit Entertainment released their new action/drama flick “The Cold Light Of Day” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was pretty entertaining. It featured a lot of action, drama, some mild suspense, and more. It stars: Henry Cavill, Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Echegui, and Bruce Willis.
In the new movie, character Will Shaw (Henry Cavill) goes to Spain to participate in a holiday outing that he doesn’t really care for. His father Martin (Bruce Willis) picks him up from the airport. It turns out that Martin is involved in all types of shady things in various different countries for the government.
One of the things that Martin is involved in,gets Will in quite a bit of trouble. At one point, Will and the family, consisting of a mother, sister and brother, are out on a boating trip. However, an incident arises, causing Will to swim back into town. Once he returns, his entire family is missing from the boat.
From there, Will goes looking for help, but gets in danger when the supposed cops turn out to be crooked. Martin eventually returns to saves Will from a major beatdown. Unfortunately, Martin gets shot dead, and Will is left to find the answers as to why his family is kidnapped and fend for himself. It turns out that in order for Martin to get his family back,he must return a mysterious briefcase his father stole.
At this point, Will goes on a wild goose chase throughout the city for answers, and he eventually stumbles upon his half sister ,named Lucia, he never knew he had. Together, they use her connections to close in on why Will’s family was kidnapped. Once Will finds out the real truth,he goes in search of Martin’s old partner Carrack (Sigourney Weaver),because she was responsible for his father’s death, and his now trying to kill him.
This leads to a huge conclusion that involved a wicked car chase, guns getting fired off,and more. It was pretty brutal. Again, I enjoyed watching the movie, because it did contain a lot of action, which I like, and the plotline was ok. It wasn’t spectacular, but it held my interest good enough. I gave the movie a solid B- grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
