New ‘Here Comes The Boom’ Movie Delivered Great Comedy,Action,Storyline & More
New ‘Here Comes The Boom’ movie delivered great comedy, action, storyline & more. Columbia Pictures (Sony) released there new comedy flick “Here Comes The Boom” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out ,and thought it was excellent. It served up lots of good comedy, fighting action, and more. It also delivered a very feel-good storyline. It stars: Kevin James, Salma Hayek, and Henry Winkler.
In the new flick, character Scott Voss (Kevin James) is a slacker school teacher who’s lost his passion for teaching, and even discourages the kids from learning. However,he meets a really nice music teacher named Marty Streb (Henry Winkler),and finds out he’s about to have another child in his old age.
Later on, the school reveals they have to make budget cutbacks and Marty’s music class is going to be a casualty of it unless they’re able to raise $40,000. Scott decides to stand up for Marty, and volunteers to come up with a plan to raise the funds. After exhausting every possibility, Scott decides to become an MMA fighter after learning that a professional MMA fighter can earn $10,000 a fight just for losing, and if he should win,he would earn $50,000 a fight.
From there, he gets one of his night school students, who is also a former MMA fighter, to train him. Scott gets his butt kicked at first, but eventually learns how to hang with the best of them until he actually becomes one of the best. His increased fighting skills eventually leads to him landing a pro MMA fighting gig against one of the best MMA fighters in the world. Scott also finds out that he actually has to win the match to save the music class as a twist in the story ,reveals all the previous money that was raised, was stolen.
It concluded with a very emotional ,feel-good, type of ending. Kinda like that feeling of the Rocky movies when Rocky beat somebody no one thought he could beat. I enjoyed it,and it showed a lot of funny scenes, especially early on, when Scott would approach the ring all overly confident in an effort to try and make himself appear dangerous. it was riot. I gave the movie a solid A grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
