New ‘The Internship’ Movie Delivered Great Comedy,Storyline,Drama & More
New ‘The Internship’ movie delivered great comedy, storyline, drama & more. 20th Century Fox released their new comedy flick, “The Internship” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was absolutely excellent. It actually turned out to be better than I thought it would be. It dished up a ton of great comedy, along with a terrific, feel good, storyline. And I know Google was loving it as it was just a 2 hour commercial for them. The movie stars: Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Max Minghella, Rose Byrne, John Goodman, Dylan O’Brien, JoAnna Garcia, Eric Andre, Josh Brener, Tiya Sircar, Tobit Raphael, and Will Ferrell.
In the new flick, Nick Campbell (Owen Wilson) and Billy McMahon (Vince Vaughn) ,end going for an internship at Google in hopes of landing permanent jobs there. Supposedly, this was their ultimate goal in life after incurring many failures in other sales ventures. Although they knew nothing about the tech world, they somehow were able to make it past the initial screening.
Unfortunately, for them, this is where the real test began. Nick,Bill, and their team of what they called, “Nooglers,” had to compete against other Noogler teams in completing a series of techy tasks. The winning team, would ultimately land the permanent jobs at Google.
Initially, Nick and Billy were made fun of for being so old as the company was filled with a bunch of young 20 years olds that were fresh out of college. However, as the movie rolled along, Nick and Billy were able to teach the kids other ways of thinking and how to have fun for a change. Basically, they showed them how to create some balance in their lives and work together as a team, which eventually helped them to start winning tasks after losing the first few ones.
Their team also had an arch nemesis, named Graham Hawtrey, who was a jerk and didn’t mind cheating to get his team ahead. Billy also had to overcome issues with not following through on things so he could finally be successful. All these little issues and what not, culminated to serve up a very feel good conclusion that gave Nick and Billy’s team a very happy ending.
Again, I thought the movie was excellent and very fun to watch. I never got bored for a second, and it was filled with a ton of comedy. Vince Vaughn did a great job with the comedy as did Owen Wilson. Also, former Gossip Girl starlet ,Jessica Szohr,, showed up as dancer/stripper character to deliver some major eye candy. Wow! She was hot. Anyways,I gave the movie a solid B+ grade. Stay tuned.
