New ‘The Purge’ movie delivered great thrills, suspense, crazy storyline & more. Universal Pictures released their new thriller flick, “The Purge” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was highly entertaining, serving up a ton of violent thrills and suspense, along with a wickedly weird ,yet intriguing plotline. The movie stars: Ethan Hawke, Lena Headey, Adelaide Kane, and Max Burkholder .

In the new flick, character James Sandin (Ethan Hawke) sells security systems for homes and is very happy that he totally increased sales in the last quarter. However, the more interesting part of this movie takes place when they reveal that there’s 1 day out of every year, where the country legalizes any type of crime, even murder for 12 hours. Apparently, this helps the country stay free of most crime for the rest of the year.

During this 12-hour period, the cops are completely off-duty and taken out of the equation as well as most other 911 emergency services that are associated with most types of crimes. James and his family appear to be very safe and secure as they have their entire house on full lockdown with their seemingly impenetrable security system.

Unfortunately, soon after the 12 hour period starts, their young son, Max decides to let a guy into their house after he yells for help. Later on, the family comes to find out that a massive group of crazy folks want to desperately kill the guy they let in,and threaten to bust into their house if they don’t deliver him.

James just wants to just give the crazy people the guy at first, but then later realizes it’s just the wrong thing to do,and decides to fight. This decision sets in motion a huge, suspenseful and violent conclusion that involved a ton of killing, fighting, and a major twist in the plotline that creates even more danger for the Sandin family. However, they end up getting help from someone they least expected.

Again, I thought the movie was highly entertaining and very intriguing. I was never bored for a second. It was just a great thriller and the unique plotline really made it that much more interesting. I gave the film a great A grade. Stay tuned. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
