New Insidious 2 Movie Delivered A Great Storyline,Thrills,Suspense & More
New Insidious 2 movie delivered a great storyline,thrills,suspense & more. FilmDistrict released their new horror/thriller flick, “Insidious: Chapter 2” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was absolutely excellent. Everything was explained perfectly,and it served up just as much thrills and suspense as the first installment, if not more. It stars: Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins, Barbara Hershey, Danielle Bisutti, Michael James Grise, and Lindsay Seim.
In the new flick, the investigation to find out who killed Elise, was addressed. In the meantime, Josh mysteriously seemed to be ok after the events of the first movie. He swore, he didn’t kill Elise,and it was something evil that followed him back. However, as the movie rolled along,more violent and mysterious things kept happening. Josh was discovered to be acting really weird too, talking to ghosts and telling them to leave.
Renai started noticing that Josh wasn’t quite right,and he also didn’t know the name of their special song. Elsewhere Renai’s mother,along with Elise’ investigation partners and spiritual medium, named Carl, eventually discovered that the real Josh actually never made it back from the spirit world, and that an evil entity, named Parker Crane, had entered his body instead. Also, Parker’s ghost mother was haunting the house and giving Parker instructions to basically kill everyone,so that he could continue to live. It turned out that Parker’s dead soul would eventually destroy Josh’s body if he didn’t continue to kill.
From there, we eventually see Carl finding Josh in the spirit world after his plan to sedate Parker gets botched so bad that he gets knocked out of his physical body after getting attacked. This led to them eventually being able to make contact with dead Elise in the spirit world to get instructions on how to stop the evil entity ,Parker, and get Josh’s body back.
This set up the big conclusion, where Josh,Elise, and Carl had to find the old memories of Carl and his evil mother,and destroy them in order to drive Parker out of Josh’s body, allowing both Carl and Josh to return to their physical bodies before it was too late.
Again, I thought the movie was insanely good with an excellent storyline that kept me highly intrigued throughout the entire runtime.
