New Gravity movie delivered great suspense,drama & more. Warner Bros. Pictures released their new drama/thriller flick, “Gravity” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was pretty damn good,serving up some great thrills,drama, and suspense. It stars: Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.
In the new movie, character Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock), who is a brilliant medical engineer, is on her first shuttle mission with veteran astronaut ,Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney). They were doing a seemingly routine spacewalk. However, debris from other satellites eventually came flying through space,and destroyed their shuttle, causing Ryan to fly out into space all by her lonesome. Eventually, Matt is able to find her,and they decide to use his thruster pack to make it to the International Space Station.
Unfortunately, they hit it with a hard landing, causing Matt to eventually fly away to his death as he was not able to latch on to something. Now alone, Ryan eventually used a damaged Soyuz module to get to the Chinese space station, so she could use their good Soyuz module to safely return to Earth. But believe me when I tell you, Ryan faced much turbulence and suspenseful situations before that safe landing occurred. And it made for a very entertaining viewing experience.
The movie kept me intrigued the entire time. I thought Sandra Bullock did a great job in this. I gave the movie a solid B grade. Stay tuned.
