New Carrie 2013 Movie Served Up Major Drama,Thrills,& More

New Carrie 2013 movie served up major drama, thrills,& more. Screen Gems (Sony) released their new horror/thriller, remake flick, “Carrie” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was great as it served up a lot of intense drama, thrills, and more. It stars: Chloë Grace Moretz, Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde, Ansel Elgort, and Julianne Moore.

In the new flick, character Carrie (Cloe Grace Moretz) is an extremely odd girl that is seen as an outcast by all her castmates at school. This is due in part to her being extremely sheltered by her deeply religious and whacked out mother, played by (Juliane Moore). Carrie eventually gets terrified after having her period at school, and get made fun of by all the girls in the locker room when they realize she didn’t know what a period is.

From there, the girls get majorly punished for doing it,but one of the main girls, named Chris, totally rebels against the punishment ,and later, seeks to further humiliate Carrie. Meanwhile ,character Sue Snell ,feels deeply sorry for participating in making fun of Carrie, so she decides to get her popular boyfriend, Tommy, to take Carrie to the prom to make up for it.

This sets up a wicked,drama-filled conclusion as the bitchy Chris character, resurfaces at the prom to secretly dump a bucket of pig blood all over Carrie while she is on stage. And just like in the original Carrie flick, Carrie gets majorly ticked off,and just whales out on everyone with her super, telekinetic powers of destruction.

Again, I thought the movie was highly entertaining for the entire runtime. The storyline kept me highly intrigued, so I never felt bored or had the urge to doze off. I think Chloe Moretz did a fantastic job as Carrie. I mean, she really made it look really convincing with all the weird behaviors and what not. I gave the move a great A grade. Stay tuned.
