New ‘Ride Along’ movie delivered great comedy, action & more. Universal Pictures released their new comedy flick, “Ride Along” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was freaking hilarious, featuring extreme funny man, Kevin Hart, along with rapping badass turned actor, Ice Cube. It also delivered big on the action as well. It stars: Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, John Leguizamo, Bruce McGill, Tika Sumpter, Bryan Callen, and Laurence Fishburne.

In the new flick, character Ben Barber (Kevin Hart) wants to prove to cop, James Payton (Ice Cube), that he can take care of his sister Angela Payton (Tika Sumpter) . Ben has enrolled in the police Academy and believes he has what it takes to be a cop as well, so James decides to put him to the test by giving him a “ride along” for a day in the field.

James secretly sets up some fake scenarios, designed to discourage Ben from continuing in the police academy and just generally getting down on himself. After getting attacked by a motorcycle gang, accused of molestation by bratty little kid, and attacked by a crazy dude in a grocery store, Ben felt like he couldn’t hack it.

However, after learning of James’ secret setups, he decides to keep going, thinking that all the rest of the alerts would be setups as well. Unfortunately for Ben, he quickly learned that this last call was definitely real by the flying bullets. This eventually led to an action-filled, very dramatic conclusion where Ben finally proves himself to James that he’s worthy of Angela as he helps him take down the main villain that James has been after for years.

Again, the movie was hilarious for the entire runtime, and it also served up a ton of action to boot. Ice Cube and Kevin Hart definitely worked well together. Ice Cube seems to always work good with comedians. I gave the movie a solid B+ grade. Stay tuned. Also, get your favorite Movie stuff, and more by Clicking Here.
