Disney World Is Reportedly Having To Block Lots Of People From Entering Today
Happy Monday and New Year’s Eve, “Disney World” fans. In this report, we’re hear to tell you if you are not currently in Disney World, and you had plans to go there today, you’re going to have to make other plans!
According to the folks over at businessinsider.com , the Disney World amusement park is absolutely packed to the brim today. So much, in fact, they reportedly had to start blocking people from entering at around 11:35 am today,December 31, 2018! They specifically mentioned the Magic Kingdom as one of the main attractions they had to block people off from.
A bunch of social media photos have also shown up on Instagram. They show how freakishly crowded it is out there. One of the photos showed the sign Disney World had to put up. It reads like this, “We apologize. The Magic Kingdom is near or at full capacity at this time. Thank You.”
Bussinessinsider.com pointed out that Disney World had to do something similar like this last year. The official Disney World Twitter page also delivered the following message in one of their tweets today. It reads like this, “We are experiencing a very busy day at Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom is not accepting new guests at this time. Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are welcoming all guests. Businessinsider.com said that Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom were still open as of 1 pm today. They went on to report that the lines are so long at Disney World that it has resulted in visitors having to wait a whopping three plus hours just to hop on the Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster rides!

According to Mlive.com, the fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom is one of the most hyped up and desired events to watch. They’re reporting that the event is even causing would-be visitors to get stuck in traffic, trying to make it to the park!
Instagram user geliebter2 posted a photo of the super long traffic lines to get to the park. You guys can view it by Clicking Here. It’s captioned with the following words: “That Magic Kingdom line even though it’s at capacity…#wdw #magickingdom #nye.”
Mlive is also reporting that the highly anticipated Disney World fireworks show can be seen live on Disney’s website. The fireworks show is scheduled to start at approximately 11:45 pm eastern standard time. Also, as of 4 pm, guests were still able to enter other areas of the Disney World park besides the Magic Kingdom.
